Thanks, I sincerely hope that everyone gets their COPR before long! (Frauds obviously excepted.)

I am trying to order the notes and I read on the forum that you can have them sent to a contact in Canada if you are out of the country. I can send them to my sister, but now I'm trying to figure out how to pay the $5 fee. It says money order or cheque, but she doesn't have a chequebook and I don't have one for my Canadian bank account, and I can't find the wire instructions for a money order. Any tips?

Consider using the friendly freebie on the forum? I think steler posted the info in a previous post...

It is interesting what info they have on people - makes you wonder!

a brown envelope from Sydney has arrived at our mailing address. Without jumping the gun and seeing it, what the heck - steler - pls update to show CoPR received 22/05/2014!

I'm giving it to my wife to open tonight - but it feels like all our photos are inside! Will update on the documents inside and what they ask.

Oh please.. That would be great..
I had given up on getting the pics back but that would be really nice to get back along with correspondence such as letters and cards that would be really nice memorabilia to keep.

Thanks for sharing... Good luck!

Photos were returned in original Costco envelope. Didn't count but can only assume they're all there. They didn't return anything else...everything we sent was a photocopy except a spare wedding invite.. So no big deal
The paperwork included was very thin. It had a copr and one generic guide ...who h wasn't too long. They said we have the option to "land" in an office vs leaving the country. There was no info on possessions. They depend on the web resources a lot....that was it. !!

Congratulations on your record breaking welcome to Canada kit.
Good luck now in what matters the most, your life together here at home.

So you are already in Canada? Do let us know when you "officially" land though :)

Congrats!

i am (sponsor) and my wife is here with me on vistor status...until she lands!

Congratulations for both of you,
Your processing was so fast....
Some Visa Offices seem to move the work faster,
maybe less work load... I will need to wait a few more months
to get any response.

We received the Confirmation of Permanent Residence today!!!

Which means precisely 3 months have gone by between the reception of our file in Mississauga and us receiving COPR. Incredible!

Good luck to everyone waiting for news!

By the way since we got it so much earlier than expected, we still have four and a half months before our actual move. My boyfriend (sponsoree) has to finish his master's degree in France before we go. We never thought we'd have confirmation earlier than necessary, but it takes SUCH a weight off our minds for our upcoming move!

Hello All,

Did your visa office ask for a copy of the CSQ?
