Congrats to all who have received their AOR and SA so far, and wishing a swift process this week for those anxiously waiting!

An update for anybody who's interested:
I had my medicals done a while ago back in May 2013 and included my upfront medical form with the application package. Last week, I noticed that the office where I did my medical exam was no longer listed in the List of Approved Panel Physicians. Worried that they may have managed not to file my papers via eMedical in time, I called the Call Centre who told me to email my VO (Ottawa) and I did so on March 18. Today, 6 days later, I got a response from them saying "Our digital file still does not show any medical results. I will forward your information to the regional medical office and they should be able to resolve the problem." So, to conclude: 1) they do respond to emails! ;D 2) Ottawa has my file! ;D 3) apparently there are Regional Medical Offices who handle these businesses, and 4) back to waiting.

Steler, my partner found the AOR which was emailed to him on Feb 27, 2014 but ended in his spam mailbox. Could you please add that date to the spreadsheet? Thx.

i'm curious, does anyone know if we receive some kind of AOR once the applicant's file is transferred after SA? or are we all just forced to check ecas for updates and wait for a PPR at this point? I feel pretty content now that the file is transferred, but my husband might be losing his mind checking his email every day.

Based on other threads, it seems it's hit and miss -but more hit since many do show their reported dates in their signatures!

Sadly, Ottawa does not send an AOR. You probably won't hear anything until they ask for extra documents/passport or issue the visa. You can always email them but they might not answer.

I was curious if anyone wanted to share where they are anticipating living once they make it to Canada? I'm interested in seeing where everyone is going to end up (:

I'll be moving to London, ON.

I am already here, I am in Winnipeg,
but I am open to move to other city when
she arrives. I am thinking that maybe
Edmonton or Ottawa would be a couple of nice options.
Winnipeg is Great, but maybe will be too cold for her...
But if she adapts well, then we will be OK here.

I'm in Kitchener, ON...pretty close to London actually. My husband is a 4.5 hour drive away from here, so we see each other every weekend. He knows my city pretty well at this point and this is where my career is so we'll be staying, or at the very least working, in Kitchener. Property is so expensive out here though I could see us buying a house outside of the city.

From other threads, there seems to be a lot of Ontario people.

Hello guys!
This morning I woke up, and as usually I checked my email, and surprise, I got an email from CIC. The email says the same thing that my sponsor got 3 weeks ago. It is the first AOR. This is so weird.
Have this happened before to anyone?

Who is it from? Maybe it's the AOR from the Paris VO?
