it sounds like your AOR from the Paris VO, steler!! :) I don't think they resend AORs for missing documents.

it would be nice if Ottawa sent one too, but oh well.
Yeah, it was the AOR from Paris! I'm so excited!
I see that everything is going very fast that I don't want that it stops. Maybe, if I'm lucky I can have the PR in a couple of months, or maybe in 7 months
I will keep you updated

Congrats steler! That's nice Paris sends an official AOR. I do hope we all get our PRs by the end of the year.

I got an update myself from the email inquiry to Ottawa:
"You medical file is now updated with a medical validity to May 26, 2014. I have requested a medical extension for you as May 26th does not likely leave enough time for processing your application."

I was worried I would have to take another medical exam so this has given me some peace in that regard. Although, as expected, ECAS has still not been updated since SA was issued. Oh well. It's nice to now CPP actually responds to emails.

This is a great news nozomi! I'm so happy that you don't have to take another medical exam

I read that and thought it was saying May of next year and had a little panic attack, like ottawa didn't anticipate apps being processed by then. i figured it out though haha.

so great everything is moving along and they're extending your medical! too bad it requires extra effort on your part though. it would be nice if we could just rely on things running smoothly. but it is the government after all.

I had some additional questions for CIC, so I called this morning. It wasn't a long wait.

Anyway, she said I was approved as sponsor yesterday and a letter was generated for me and the file was transferred. ECAS has no change.

So, SA = Mar 25. AOR = Mar 21.

I'm quite chuffed!

Nice! I got my AOR same day as you, so theres a chance I got SA too :). But, no email or anything yet. Where did you call to find out?

The CIC call center is pretty good and usually no more than a 10 min wait.

edit: sorry you are totally right and i've made this mistake a few times before!!

Hey BeShoo we have a cottage in Gatineau! Its a beautiful area :) I've always wanted to live there.

I agree that it's a very beautiful area. That's one of the main reasons I'd like to stay here. My family is close to Toronto, but it can't match Ottawa/Gatineau for beauty.

Hello buddies!
I added some information at the end of the spreadsheet. I'm totally open to any suggestion

Thanks marlasinger! Nah, considering what others on the forum had to go through to get their files sorted out, getting an email out to confirm wasn't too much of an effort. I'm just happy they have the medical on file and no need to pay for additional the checkup. Yes, it is the government after all.

Congrats Netkid! I too have found the wait with the Call Centre is not too long in the mornings.

Additional info on the spreadsheet looks great steler, thx as always :)
