Well, I would still check e-Cas daily (or even multiple times daily ;D)

There's this guy who wrote a web-based application that can automatically check e-Cas on behalf of us:

https://ecas.carroll.org.uk/

According to him:

"The CIC website says "The Client Application Status site is updated weekly, usually on Tuesdays". This is not entirely accurate. e-CAS can be updated on any day of the week, including weekends. The e-CAS Tracker system has seen updates to people's e-CAS files every single day of the week. There do seem to be more updates on Tuesdays than on other days, but by no means is it only updated on Tuesdays."

Thanks for this!
I just signed up for this as well!

Oh, sorry. I must have misunderstood that. But it's good to know that they already forwarded her medical results to cic mississauga. I'm not sure about my husband's med results if they did the same thing.

I bet Mississauga can probably see your husband's results too ^^. Your husband did the exam on 7 Dec right? My wife did hers on 12 Dec, so if hers can be seen by Mississauga, chances are your husband's can too. Am I correct to understand that he is in the Philippines? If so, there was even no delay for his results to reach the Philippines, since he is already there =) =)

But you can of course call the call centre to confirm ^^.

By the way...! Are you a Canadian citizen or PR? You should ask an agent to inform you your UCI, if you haven't already done so ;).

Yes he's in the Philippines. Well sometimes, there are delays in medical results as well like what happened to my sister when she was sponsored by my mom. I'm a PR and the agent told me that the UCI is the same as the 8-digit number that can be found at the front of PR card. :)

Made me check my PR card, yes it is the same UCI that they sent me thru AOR and SA. I did not include this on my application as I don't know how to find my UCI, so yea there you go! :D

Should I be able to see from e-CAS if my medical's has been received even before getting SA? There is nothing at least yet.. So I'm just curious... :)

Mine did not show up until after SA. :)

Not sure about e-Cas (as I can't even login yet!) but one sure thing is: you can try asking an agent to check whether they got your medical results. That's how I found out today that they had my wife's medical results, even though I haven't got an AOR yet (let alone SA) =)

wow! You speak finnish? :D

Very, very little...(when I was a teenager, I learnt the basics of 23 languages just for fun, with Finnish being one of them :D )

I'm just amused by its cute (and ultra difficult -- considered the most difficult in the world!) language, cool techs (I'm thinking of getting the Nokia Lumia 920 this summer!), cool people, etc!

And I always giggle when I remember the remarkable resemblance between your former president Tarja Halonen and the talkshow host Conan O'Brien =P

Interesting! :) You must be very good at languages then! Yes, I've also heard that finnish is one of the most difficult languages :) Thank god I didn't have to learn from books ;)

I also have Nokia phone (surprise!) and my father has Nokia Lumia.. at least he says its working fine :D

LOL. Yeah, he really looks like her. :D

Hi everyone,

I finally got my sponsorship approval today :) Please update my file. Heaven heard my prayer. Hours ago, I was eating a big piece of cake just to feel a lil bit better from frustration.

I hope all goes well with you guys.
