Hi again,

So I had my meds done on Jan 30, application sent the same day. According to Fedex it was received Feb 1. I'm already in BC Canada as a visitor, hopefully can stay here until the application has been processed Off the topic but do u guys happen to know if it's possible to stay here as a visitor for 12 months or over? Depending how long it takes to process the application

Hi...when is the best time to undergo medical because we're still waiting for the option C of my husband in Canada...Does it include dental? Did you have and pay somebody to check your documents? If yes where and how much did it cost you?Did you also label your photos in front or at the back of each picture and how many pieces of pictures for the visa did you include?

Hi abscott

Medicals should be done a late as possible before you actually send your apps. Medicals have a validity of one year so its advisable to leave them for just few days before you go to the post office. There is no dental required

Try to complete your apps by your self. Why should you go out paying? Now of course if you wish to have an expert to do this for you its really up to you but i cannot answer about this!

I placed all our photos in a Word document as most of our photos are digital. I sorted them out 3 per page so they are not too small and i placed a caption explaining who is in the photo, where and when it was taken next to each photo.
Other members here placed the captions below the photos and others had send individual photos and wrote in the back (although I wouldn't recommend it for you because the person who will read the photos must nturn the photo to the back to read the captions

The requirement for visa photos for the principal applicant is 8 photos as per the instructions of your regional guide!

I got my SA today from CIC around 1 pm EST. Please update my file.

Now its time to knock the doors of Quebec for them approving me as sponsor.
Then NDVO will start processing my file once quebec has accepted me also.

I am jumping all the way ... YAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I am just curious to know if Spousal sponsorships from Quebec usually need longer processing time than others because they need an additional approval or if their applications are treated faster?

For my case i still fall under the regular processing time for CIC like other applicants .
But quebec is estimated to take another 1 month for accepting as a sponsor. Practically this should not delay at all for the fact that VO start processing your file after a month they receive and by then quebec will have its approval to VO.

Hey all!
Its been a while since I came in here and its been raining AOR's and SA's! Congratulations you all!
Mine still says, Application received and medical recd.
I have been on the edge waiting for my husband's SA. I have an extremely long wait-it says 23 months from Abu Dhabi VO- so that sucks! I know thats worst case scenarios, but it still scares me!
Also, it says on the website that they are now working on applications submitted on 18th Feb 2013. Since ours was submitted earlier, I am starting to really worry about the SA! Can't wait to be in blue on the spreadsheet as well...
On a side note, I love the initiative with the FB group, I have just joined that as well
Its so nice to see everyone sharing their stories in here! My husband and I have been dating for almost 5 years & we got married little over a year ago. The whole waiting away from my husband is so frustrating
