Thank you so much for the interest! She is in the same condition but today she will be temporarily admitted to the local hospital to take in some intravenous nourishing serum. She has lost more than 6 kilos from this so far! The worst that her psychology is down and the only thing she wants is to sleep because this is the only comfort for her!
We just concluded 8 weeks today so hopefully there will be a recuperation soon

Messenger sorry for the late reply, I am on a holiday of sorts with my kids, just visiting my family (cousins and grandmother) in Sudbury. Glad she is getting taken care of and I hope being re-hydrated will offer her some relief. She should start feeling better by 12-14 weeks. I know that sounds like a long time away still, but the first trimester really is the hardest.
6 kilos is a lot!! Poor thing. That will all come back soon enough

Thanks Iay! I hope i hear some good news soon from CIC. This waiting game is driving me nuts!.. Ever since i submitted our application, i've been checking my email 8x a day!. It's crazy thinking about what will be next. I had another question in my head earlier while i was at the office, but i completely forgot about it.
Oh now i remembered! What if you lost your PR card while on a vacation on another country? You need your PR card to re-enter Canada right? Would you be able to re-enter canada with your original landing paper?

Hi lovely family

The doctors gave her an ultra sound yesterday and we saw our (according to the printout) 12.3 cm baby
Baby is doing fine but mommy is kinda unbalanced on electrolytes. Doctors decided to keep her in their care even for the weekend. She is slowly recuperating!

So earlier while i was at the office, i read this thread iver the internet regarding about PR sponsors who wants to live outside canada while waiting for their applications to be processed. I just want validation if this is true or not. Or maybe the rule got changed. It says:

"To meet these residency obligations, you must be physically present in Canada for at least 730 days (2 years) in every 5-year period.

This means that you can spend a total of up to 3 years outside of Canada during a 5-year period. However, if you leave the country for an extended period of time, it is up to you to prove to Citizenship and Immigration Canada that you will be able to meet your residency requirements."

I wanted to live with my wife at her country while waiting for our application to be processed. I know Canadian citizens can do that but i am not sure about PR's. If my brain processed this correctly, it says to maintain PR status, the person should stay at least 2 YEARS within 5 years IN canada to maintain the PR status. I got here in Canada in april 2010. So im almost 3 years living here. Wish someone could clarify this.
