AND: I was updated on e-CAS, but I didn't receive any email from the e-CAS tracker.. There was both "decision made" for sponsor and "medical results received" for me. So I guess it's not working so well.. Better check e-CAS yourself. ;)

Keep in mind that the tracker only checks e-CAS a few times a day though....so perhaps tomorrow it will send you a notification? =)

Glad to see the thread is nice and lively. Work has gotten me this week......AND my wife will be here in 2 days to visit. :D I am bouncing off walls trying to stay busy so the time will pass quicker. Nothing on my SA yet. :( I hope it comes soon!!!!

CONGRATS TO ALL WHO GOT SA AND AOR this week!! And for those of you running into problems, good luck. I hope all works out quickly and in a positive way!!

When can you log into E-Cas? I'm supposed to change my email but I can't log in. Is there another to change it?

I was outside of Canada too when submitted our application nearly 2 months ago (now I'm back in Canada though). What proofs did you send to show your intention of going back to Canada?

I got a job offer from the company my mom works for and I also showed proof of me mailing my answer accepting the job offer (registered mail slip plus reciept from post office). I had my dad make a statutory declaration saying that they will provide a place to stay, and I also contacted some international moving companies to get quotes on a move from paris to toronto, and included some of them.

I also wrote a 2 page letter explaining why I have no ties to Paris.

I was actually very paranoid :o about this part of the application because I though it was the only thing that might set us back so I focused a lot on it.

It takes few days after receiving AOR.. I think for me it took 3 days. :)

guys I have a question if some one can answer that would be great.

I applied to sponsor my wife as a PR and the visa office selected is New Delhi. She is Indian and is residing in USA for the past 6 months so I cannot select USA as visa office in the application as its less than one year in USA.
I got my SA yesterday and the file is transferred to New Delhi.
She is currently in USA on work (L1) Visa. I am expecting passport request in next 4 to 5 weeks.

Question:
When I get the passport request, can she send the passport to Delhi VO from USA or she has to find some one going to India and then mail it from there.
When the PR is approved and visa is stamped where will they send the passport to? is it residential address or mailing address.

In the application I gave residential address as USA and mailing address as India (where her parents stay).

Thanks in advance.

Indian nationals are by law not allowed to send passports overseas ( it says somewhere on the passport I believe), so it would be best to send her passport with a friend.
Normally they send everything to the mailing address, but once you have the sponsor approval, you can log into ecas ( it might take a few days) and update it. However, in New Delhi case, because of the restrictions regarding sending indian passports abroad, even if you change the address to a US one in ecas, they might not be willing to send it to the US - best is to ask in the thread dealing with New Delhi applicants as I'm sure others have had the same experience before.
Good luck,
Sweden
