You guys are genius. I didn't try the old email, and guess what, It works ;D Thank you all.

that's great - one less headache for you! :-) once you are transferred to stage 2 (after AOR and SA) it might be worth contacting your VO to update it to a new email address though - just in case your old email stops working after a couple of months... will save you further headaches!

inhinyeronina, does the package tracking show that it was delivered to CIC ?

Yes. I sent it via Canada post, and as per tracking, mail was successfully delivered on 02/04/13. It's been a month now and I haven't receive any news from it. :(

I feel your pain too, inhinyeronina! I'm a January 2013 applicant, and I'm literally the ONLY one who hasn't got an AOR, and it's been 36 days since my parcel arrived at CPC-M! =/

Starting 20 Feb, this page has been saying that they're working on apps they received on 29 Jan, but the truth is, even before 20 Feb, a lot of Feb applicants already got AORs and SAs. The agents assured me that they didn't return my package (which is a good thing) since they saw no note about a return, on their system...

I have a feeling that it's my huge (it's 6,4 kg (14,01 lbs)) package that causes the delay....?! I don't know though! JudyO's package is similar in size to mine, so let's see how long it takes her to get her AOR (hope you'll get your AOR fast, Judy! :))

My tip to those of you who plan to call the call centre (or have been trying without luck): call them at 8 AM (Eastern) sharp! My last call was at 8:02 AM yesterday, and I was able to reach an agent within about 7 to 8 minutes (my longest was 20, lol).
Their number is 1-888-242-2100, and to skip all the pre-recorded messages, just press 1, 2, 3, 0. Wait about 1 second inbetween those numbers though...

Good day to all

It seems Mississauga has been very slow this week comparing to the flow of AOR's and SA's of the last few weeks.
It would be encouraging if we see the people like fandv and inhinyeronina get their notifications soon so the rest of us can start hoping of our turn to come.
In the CIC site Processing times it says that they are Working on applications received on January 29, 2013.
I do not understand this well! So far we saw that from February they already confirmed SA's to more than 8 people.
So why they claim that they are still working on Jan apps. hmmmm? Help me Dr. Watson! :)

Hey fandv,
I think the weight would not be an issue. My package weighed ~11kg and my application went by end of Jan and i recently got my SA. Does the status on CIC application status shows that you're application is received? Someone I know got his application delayed because of no proper income proof (unstable job) and didnot attach the option C printout of last year tax assessment. I'm sure you would have sent but wanted to make sure if you have sent it. Good luck to you for getting SA soon!

Yes very strange eh Tom?! I told an agent that so many Feb applicants already got AORs and SAs, and why would I (Jan applicant) not get one. His answer was "I don't know. It's possible that some groups of officers are processing applications faster than other groups." :o

HI Fandv and good day to you (I believe you are in Canada :) )

I have a feeling that before the end of this week the roll of AOR's and SA's will start again! And hopefully you would be among the first who will get an email!
We are here side by side although there are oceans that keeps us apart and we'll all go through this together!

Hey thanks for the insights Namachii! Wow 11 kg..... almost double my parcel!!! ;D

Well, what I did was, I submitted Option C and a letter from my employer stating my salary, how long I've been working, and how many hours I work per week.
No paystubs though, as I believe they're not required since I submitted my Option C and employment letter.

Well I can't even login to e-Cas, which means they haven't even opened my parcel and haven't scanned the barcodes. So I don't think the problem is missing documents :/.

Just received our AOR (about 15 minutes ago) for our application which they think was received on the 25th Feb.

Please could the spreadsheet be updated?

This implies that there is a seven working day delay in issuing the initial AOR at the moment.

Sounds weird!! I don't know how they can keep moving on with newer ones when some officers are still processing older ones..?! Maybe they should rearrange their system and just have all the applications in one pile.. because then if some officers process things faster everyone would have equal change to be processed.. and not to be stuck in slow officers piles!

Hopefully some good news comes soon!!!

Thanks for the encouragement Tom! Yes I'm in Canada as of last week..... :) prior to that I was in Indonesia for 5 months to marry my wife, have our 2 honeymoons in Bali, and to work on the sponsorship application together ;).

Yes let's hope we hear from them soon!! I have a feeling you will get your AOR before I ;)

You have been updated Zardoz..Congratulations and soon the SA.
BTW. Have you seen the movie Zardoz?

Worth noting however, on the E-cas web site, the following information.

"Note that the Client Application Status tool is updated weekly, usually on Tuesdays."

So, not much point in checking for nearly a week for us.
