Wow! So they take 16 weeks exactly!elpam123 said:Called FBI this morning, and told me that my report will be mailed today. Application received on Nov 10.
My CC was charged Monday and they said check after 2 weeks. Its normal.mj.sb said:I called the FBI and asked them if my finger prints are accepted( my credit card has been charged yesterday), they told me to call after three to four weeks. Is that normal I thought I could know earlier?
Can I know from members who got their reports when they know if their finger prints were accepted?
My fp were received on 10/31 ; got report on Monday 02/23canrushi said:Is any one here who applied on Oct 22nd, and received his report?
That indeed is frustrating. If FBI is so picky on the fingerprint quality, they should have their own people do it at various places.FSW_Applicant said:Just got off the phone with FBI. Our second set of applications were received on 11/11 (first set was not legible by their system).
This time my wife's prints were accepted but mine have been rejected again!!
Timeline:
First set received: 08/09
Received letter for bad prints: 10/28
Second set received: 11/11
Wife's report mailed: 02/27
My prints considered faulty again
What irks me is that both times the prints were taken by a technician at the local PD and each set had 2 copies, each separately taken. Guess I have to start my 16 week process all over again. So frustrating ???
Oh gosh! This is turning out to be such a pathetic and painful process to get a fbi clearance ... I am in the same boat, after 16 long weeks came to know that the prints were not accepted -( just makes me wonder why don't they start using digital prints like the state Clearances !!FSW_Applicant said:Just got off the phone with FBI. I'm aware of only one such case which is really strange and could have been a mistake on the officer's part. FBI is not optional, it is a mandatory document.candadacalling said:Hello All,
I guess I am in the same boat as for FBI PCC.
5th September applicant. Received MED,PCC,RFPR request on 25th February. (CPC-OTTAWA)
However, my FBI PCC was rejected first time due to unclear finger prints. resubmitted again on 22nd January-2015.
I have untill 24th April-15 to submit all documents. And counting 16 weeks from day of submission it will be at least 25th may to receive my PCC, granted that the new finger prints are accepted this time.
this is frustrating.
I have seen some applicants in the global spreadsheet for FSW-2014, who have received visa and they had Partial PCC submittals.
Is this possible? Seniors please comment.
thanks
I called one of the channelers (vetconnex) and they mentioned if I am not a US citizen or a Permanent Resident, I can't use their Service for FBI clearance. I have use the finger print card and mail it directly to FBI.attaboy said:I am new to this thread, I read through a lot of pages, I need to get my FBI- Clearance done and I still have this question.
I am in US for last 10 years (not a citizen or Permanent Resident)
For FBI-Clearance for CIC, can I use the FBI-Channelers for this ?
Since you are supposed to send the FBI application form and the finger print together, if I use Channelers how can be both sent together.
I read in FBI website that "Due to automation of the mail process, tentatively scheduled for January 12, 2015, the FBI will no longer provide Identity History Summary results on blue security paper. "
Can someone please guide on the steps that anyone of you recently did.
Thanks in advance.
