I had submitted my application on April 2024, and had received a July 2026 date. I had a extension running daily at night which checked for slots and i was able to bring the date to June 2025.

Received an email today which said "You might qualify to schedule an earlier U.S. Visa appointment". After i checked I received a priority slot for Jan 2025.

So keep on checking and you might get a earlier date.

What embassy did you pick initially and what did u reschedule to ??
I applied November 2023 and got Jan 2025 in Vancouver.

No, I dont have any idea about it. Maybe as someone said above that he had appointment for June and got the email, it could be June if his city is Vancouver too.

I applied in july 2023 from toronto, got an appointment date for july 2025. in june 2024 I got an email saying I was eligible for an earlier appointment, the only one available was in vancouver for july 30 2024. I just got back from Vancouver and my visa as approved on the spot with no interview, no supporting documents.

They only asked for my PR card, RTD and photo, how long I would stay in the US and took my fingerprints. I should receive it in the mail next week, not sure how long for. My RTD expires September 2024. Will update here when I receive it.
