December Application OINP

Hii...my wife is a principal applicant & our documents was received in February'2016,so our aor is still pending.
Actually, there are following small changes, which I want to know should I inform OINP or should I wait for AOR & after that we informed them??
1. When we had send the documents,my wife was on maternity leave & the same we had mentioned in the job duties section which I had send to OINP.
So, should we inform them that she had joined back???
2.My wife earlier job location was Gurgaon but now after maternity leave she joined in other city.However, her duties, designation & boss remain the same.
3.Spouse passport was about to expire, so I had made a fresh passport.
So, plz help me out whether we should inform about the above changes or we should wait for AOR & then inform them??

Now whatever I say will be questioned. So just read this and do not react , it is just a speculation based on my observation.

The November applicants have been waiting for 8-9 months now, and it is high time for OINP to finish with nomination or else their EE profile will change which is problem for OINP and wastage of time. Again applicants will have problems too for expiring IELTS, passport etc. SO they would certainly give nominations anytime now. On the other hand the restriction of Draw invites to 750 was temporary to cover up the back log, and by now they must have cleared it, so there will be more invites like 2000 per draw anytime after August. So we can expect nominations of Nov. applicants from August. Now November applicants are very less so December applicants will immediately start getting nominations by 15th August. Now 90 days from 15th August is 15th November so that will be the time when we all will get nominations. This is based on file numbers of Dec applicants which are 2700 to 3000 i.e 300 total nominations ( or say 400 max) to be given. 90 days is enough to do so.

I heard the presentation by the guy from IRCC. He says that they are going to have the small (~700) draws till end of august/September. They expect the 2000+ draws to begin from September/October..

that first 2000 draw will be all PNPs: SK,AB,ON,NS... all are waiting

I definitely see the nominations of November applicants in July followed by December applicants. This has nothing to do with draws. They are already done with the nomination process for November applicants, and its just that they are waiting for some reason to start sending them. whatever the reason is, has to be temporary, so by now they must have resolved it. We will surely see nomination of December applicant by August.

Apparently, nominations are not being issued because of they want to :

1) Keep the number of ITAs low.
2) Keep the score around 470 - 485.

If they issue bulk nominations to November applicants, they either have to issue more number of ITAs or increase the CRS score to maintain the low number of ITAs they are issuing - They might not be willing to do either of them and hence they delay. The province might be acting on the orders of IRCC - an order that has temporarily restricted the province from issuing bulk/excessive nominations to applicants.

point #1 is very valid, but I don't think they care that much for point #2, last year there were several draws with 700-800+ cutoffs

Forget about draws. We have nothing to do with a draw now. It is all about nominations now. Just watch the day when they start giving nominations. Once we get nominated, even if the draw is for 100 invites we are going to get ITA. so for now just think about nomination and leave the draw chapter for those in EE pool.
we are out of the race of CRS now. We have already gone through that waiting in pool, so enjoy waiting for nomination now

+1 Even I have the same feeling. They're waiting for an appropriate time to send out the nominations. July is the MONTH!

If they start issuing nominations they cant really drop the scores.

Its sort of catch 22. The only way to drop scores is to stop all PNP nominations and they cant afford to do that.

Even though the PNPs have reduced the scores haven't dropped (partly due to the lower intake). However, it points out that they still have so many eligible profiles above the 470 mark even!

We have been hearing these speeches from 2015 that the point will drop to 400 an all. IMO, if the point drops by 400, there wont be anyone to apply through OINP as all above 400 will get ITA. So in that case OINP will loose the fees and i dont think they really want this. So Draw point dropping to 400 is not gonna happen. This is my view.
