Citizenship will be delayed. Case will not be rejected. A pr must stay in Canada for 1095 days to be eligible to apply for citizenship.

I think u shouldn't pressure ur husband into coming to Pak.... which prolly lead to ur father-in-law's comment.... As difficult as it is being apart u have to understand that it can b difficult for ur husband to come to Pak especially with a full time job..... getting paid vacation is difficult n even then getting vacation approved can b a problem in itself.... not to mention how expensive plane tickets can get these days especially during high season....

the thing is for citizenship there is a set requirement of continuous residence in Canada in order to b eligible for citizenship.... so him leaving now may effect his application for citizenship...

For all those lucky enough to get PPR, how does the embassy contact you? Through mail, email, or phone?

If one of the parent is Canadian citizen, you can attach a copy of his/her citizenship card.
The child born abroad to Canadian parent is the application available online on cic website. It will take only a week to get baby's travel document, passport.
I did it for my nephew and took a week, with confirmed tickets etc. for citizenship certificate took 6 months and we applied from Pakistan, Islamabad. We applied for his passport and citizenship together.

thanxs Chashmesh can u plz send me the link of application for travel dacument. is it same as passport application for children?

Ok so theres a kahani main twist..

My husband is a pr and he has visited pak twice..once for shadi n once for anniversary..now my father in law says k if my husband visits me in pak again,my file will be rejected n my husbands citizenship will be delayed..is baat main kitna sach hai?
its true that citizenship will be delayed but file will not be rejected for short visit but there is a chance for rejection if he stays with for for longer period of time i mean more then 3 months.
i am also pr and visited twice back home for marriage and anniversary and now planning for another visit in mid june for 2 and a half months.
my citizenship is in process and waiting for test date.
my visit will prolong my citizenship process. but i have to visit because i will not have anytime after till december holidays just foe 2 weeks or summer holidays in 2015. and hopefully in the end of this year insha allah

Not necessary, because the birth certificate is widely accepted as citizenship proof and enough for getting passport services.

If you want, you can apply(they don't have the cards anymore, just paper certificates now):

thanks dear

I got an email on January 2nd 2014 for additional documents and police certificate and sent every thing to Islamabad on January 16th, 2014. After 3 months I got an email from London, England today that I should send my wife's documents and police certificate again to london office as they did not receive these documents from Islamabad. Now that they are processing my file i have to send them again. I do not understand what the hell they are doing. They cant even share documents properly.

My Time line: (wife case)

Application filed: April 26, 2012
AOR: July 24, 2012
Additional document request: Jan 2nd, 2014 (Islamabad)
Additional document request: April 15, 2014 (London, England)

waiting for medical and ppr....
