Guys I have question:

I have filed a sponsorship application for my wife who at the time was living in Afghanistan, then she had to move to Pakistan with her family. I did notify CIC about her address change.

Now their whole family is planning to move to Dubai and she cant stay in Pakistan alone.
My question is, if she moves to Dubai will it screw up our sponsorship application? If not then kindly tell me what I need to be aware of (besides notifying CIC again).

Also we will have a baby in 7 months Inshallah, and pretty sure if our baby will be born before she gets to Canada, then our file will be postponed for another 1 year unfortunately. >:(

When do they ask for remedical? After making sure that the relationship is genuine or before even touching anything?
when they process everything then they ask for remedical because they only ask for medical if they issue the visa

Salam, sorry to say but if she is in Dubai then you both may need to reapply from that country as she is not in Pakistan. So sorry to have to say this brother, but contact them ASAP and explain all this and I hope I'm wrong In Sha Allah.......Allah knows better

Haven't heard from you in a while sister, any thing new to your case ? may Allah end all your sufferings. Aameen

that's completely wrong.... they ask for re medical at the start of the process when the officer opens the file(You can say Bismillah jab kerta hai to lolzzzzz) .... coz the first thing they want to confirm whether the applicant is still medically admissible to enter Canada. so that the visa officer's time and energy can be saved from wastage, instead of that at the end the officer come to know that the applicant is inadmissible on medical grounds.

Salam, Your 100% wrong!
The medical usually expires before the interview or while they process the case! Only when the Visa Officer is satisfied that the relationship is 100% Genuine will they decide to renew Medical In Sha Allah......

Hi I will suggest u to transfer your file from your current visa office to Dubai visa office.you give the application for transfer of file and give the reason your family is moving to Dubai and you are moving too.they will consider this for sure.

They will change visa offices, will delay the app - but you don't need to reapply. I have seen other users do it that

yes i guess micmac01 is absolutely right. bcz if this the case then they might send a remed req to every applicant right after the expiry of the 1st one. why do ppl had to wait for 2 years or so then.
