According to this forum member replies, CHC ISBD and OTTAWA are reviewing the July/Aug 2012 cases.
Insha Allah OCT 2012 cases will be starting in a month or two.

dont worry at all. i have the same case as u almost. my husband visited back canada after 5 years found job in a month. he hadnot even been filing his taxes.
we both filled up all the forms on our own. no body helped us at all. we did make few mistakes too but MISSISSAUGA walay were pretty helpful they kept guiding us. it did enhance my time a little but we cleared the first stage mashALLAH.
so dont worry and u dnt need a lawyer just lots of prayers and keep loving ur wife. (make sure u dont ignore her when u go back to canada)

R u sure they r reviewing July/August 2012 Applications...I don't understand our applications r dealt according to the date of filing or according to AOR???? Does anyone has an idea?

You know in Canada PR app nothing is sure ... all is an approximation based upon the fellow members' replies.

almost a year after filing an application .. cic returened my original documents stating that they dont need original.. they have saved copies of this documents :/ this also means my file was in ottawa as my husband (sponsor) have recived my documents from ottawa :/

people are saying that CIC is working on july aug 2012 files i am aug 2012 applicant didnt hear any thing after approval,,,

i emailed CIC ottawa and they confirmed that my file is in ottawa but we didnt get any of our original documents back,,its better if they return coz i want to apply for jobs and they all ask for original educational documents
