Ur file is at least in process.....they were at least concerned for ur originals ...
I've heard also that they return alll the originals when they r near to finalize a case ..so I hope it would be something better for u soon IA...

What do you think have they transferred our files to Islamabad or its a sign for long process for us???

Hi guys! My timeline is close to urs toctober application filed!I called them last week n they said they transferred my file to islamabad too. I think its a good sign cz atleast there is some motion. Do u guys think we shud apply gcms notes n see wat up? R u full wedding case or nikkah case? Mine is nikkah case.also do u think its a good option to apply for trv now or will it just complicate the case?
I was about to apply for trv last month but didn't.I'm waiting till after our rukhsati in October.

Mine was full wedding .. i did alppied for trv and visited my husband few months back..

Hello. My wife moved and I needed to send CIC Islamabad her new address. I tried sending it to them through email, but I got an automated rejection letter via email saying that they require a signature, so either send the request via fax or letter mail. I sent them a fax but they said that they do not confirm receipt of faxes. I tried calling them as well and they said that they are not concerned with these matters and told me to email CIC Islamabad. Like what the heck?

i also mailed islamabad and ottawa to change my email address. Ottawa changed my email address with in 2 working days but Islamabad send me automated rejection letter . I have already faxed them once and planning to mail them again along with additional documents.

Its so strange that no one is hearing anything from CHC islamabad.... But when you go to book an appointment for medical test...they are so busy..and have no slots available until late august...

(what they Busy with what I have no idea)...nontheless, please keep praying..inSHALLAH ALLAh will make this happen!... I think waiting after getting a re-medical becomes even more difficult..you

feel you are so close to getting this nightmare over!..

No re-med or any communication since my file transfer to Islamabad, April 2012. I have not order any notes cuz my lawyer discourage to do it...I am not sure if I can do it myself

I dont know who work in CHC Islamabad if they have spouses and families, if they have they should put them selves in our shoes for a month to know how we fell without our spouse. Its 8 hours shift I dont know how many cases they are working on per day.

Yeah, if they cant work then i am available to work voluntarily without pay. And i know i would work better than those lazy workers sitting at CHC ISB

Hi EagleMan. you said you file transferred in July 2013, did you get first email from CIC they told you your file transferred to Islamabad? if yes then your file more likely still in Ottawa. This what happen to me I got email from CIC that my file transferred to Islamabad in May but later I email Ottawa they told me my file still in Ottawa.

From early/mid 2012 all physical files are kept in Ottawa and only soft copies are sent to ISB, after the process is complete docs are being sent back from Ottawa as well.

Hmmm Allah acha karay what date they told for Islamabad transfer? I am not applying for trv. Everyone has their own perception some says that it prolong the process. I am full wedding case n I have a son.
