But my question is how do I get a copy of my Skype history to submit as evidence?

Did you just copy/paste, would that be acceptable?

I copy pasted whole thing in word and than submit it ... other than that u can print sceen if u have a small chat/call history to print .

Hi guys my husband was trying to log on with his file number which start with F00000000. But he was having trouble with it. When I log in with UCI it works for me. But his does work for me with file number. Can u plz tell me how to check it. Thx

New Rules for Spousal Sponsorship

Two new rules have been added for cases of spouse/common-law partner sponsorship. They are the following:

1. 5-Year Restriction on Sponsorship (March 2nd, 2012)

Canadian Permanent Residents who were sponsored as a spouse/common-law partner cannot become a sponsor themselves until they have been a Permanent Resident for 5 years.
In this way, fraudulent applicants will not be able to manipulate the program and sponsor a partner living abroad.

2. Two-Year “Legitimate Relationship” Regulation (October 26th, 2012)

This rule applies to spouses/partners who have been in a relationship for two years or less and who have no children in common with their sponsor at the time of application submission.
Once in Canada, the sponsored individual will receive conditional Permanent Residency. They must live with their spouse/partner in a ‘legitimate relationship’ for two years, or face the possibility of having their Permanent Residency revoked.
Exceptions will be made for sponsored spouses or partners who are suffering from abuse or neglect.

Is those rules are only for the Canadian Permanent Residents or even for the canadian citizens as well.

i think ,address(to submit the additional requirement) is always mentioned in the CHC request letter/ email,that u hav received ,asking u the additional information.

Hey guys...

My husband applied for me on Dec 11 2011 i.e he submitted my application on dat day....Then on Jan 31 2012..he got email stating that our application has been received by CIC...On 7th Feb 2012 he got an email and a letter attached stating that your application have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor and application has been forwarded to visa office i.e Islamabad..he got a file number...so he keeps checking on CAS.. It shows : Sponser application status : Decision Made.
Permenant residence application status : Application received.

CIC hasn't contact me personally still. My medical was done in Nov 2011.....Its near to expire...M worried y havnet they contacted me yet for anything ! :-[

Can anyoneee explain me where am i standing in this wholeeeee process ??????? how much time is there for them to contact me ????

i have the same timeline as urs.....just a lil difference dat i got an email dat my file has been transfered to islamabad on the 30th of jan 2012......i submitted my file on the 3rd of dec 2011......my medical will also expire in nov dat is 1st nov 2012.....my ecase shows the same status as urs.....seriously i also don't know wat to do and how to ask them about the status of ours file....just about to order GCMS notes...i hope they can help....inshallah

I finally got an email reply saying that my file is in process and to submit any thing to ISL...

I contacted my MP office, but those dimwits didnt do jack for me, well, someone is gona get told off my property when they come looking for votes...

whoever was asking about skype, from what I know (since i use it too)... if you use the same computer or same computers on one router and under one user name within a house, then all your convo gets saved and colated... i have been using skype since 2 years now, and i can still go all the way back to the very first line "you have added xyz as your contact" right on skype... as far as submitting this info goes, well simply copy and paste, and try to format it so it aint 1000 pages, i had squeezed it to be from 97 to 55ish pages... enough to show them, plus they can read if they want, also at the same time take 3-4 random PRINT SCREEN shots of your skype history, that way you can show them that its legitimate and not made up....

if you want there is a skype chat log program... it pulls all your skype chat history, however, if u have multiple ppl you talk to, it will include all that chat aswell, plus printing it is a bit of an issue too, give it a look if u want...

Hello every body. I am a very silent reader of this forum from the last two months. I just want to share my file's timeline. My husband submited file on 22 march 2012. Received AOR on 28 june. Now today I received a letter from CHC ISL in which they asked us for permanant residence fee and secondly there is a little misstake in my marriage certificate which they asked us for amendment. They posted this letter on 18 oct but I received today. So lets see what will they do after this. I pray to Allah for His blessings.
