yesterday my husband received CSQ after 26 days

now expecting AOR from islamabad.

my question is should we email chc-isl and ask for AOR or just wait?

we applied in june, got approval in sept (letter from missisauga with ottawa pilot project stamp on envelop :-\)
and now received CSQ

ecas shows :

We received your application for permanent residence on *******.

Medical results have been received.

is it a good sign ?

So he is going to send that next wk. so my question is how long will it take him to come in Canada now. Please tell me.

hi.. can u pls share ur detailed timeline .. for example on which date u applied and when did u receive letter from islamabad asking for information ? and what kind of information are they asking for ?

I applied middle of April 2012. And my husband got letter on oct 25. 2012 saying that they need his personal history for 2004 and where is was living in 2003-2004.

since u have got a letter from islamabad real quick Inshallah your case will be processed faster as there are other ppl including me who are also waiting to hear anything from islamabad/ottawa..

if everybody is here in a "genuine" relation nobody minds the 2 year restriction but at least they should do something about the processing time. like bringing it down to 6 months for every country.

In India there is more fraud as compared to Pakistan . I know this sikh guy asked my uncle to get married to his sister somehow..he was offering him $10k but obviously my uncle refused. Idk with the difference of religion how he would have managed that. but the thing is jo zyda fraud mai nahi hai wo phansay huay hain aur jin ke loog ye sub karte hain their timeline is 6 months.

It say descion made. But that's since July when the file got transfered to Islamabad. Do u know around how many months????

we didnt send anything extra other then the documents that normally everybody sends. here is what we submitted.

1. Letter of invitation from me
2. nikah nama english translation noterized
3. her NIC english translation noterized
4. letter of recommendation from my MP here in mississauga
5. My bank statement
6. My job letter
7. Copies of my passport and citizenship card

one case here we know of babbi, which was processed in 3 months after getting AOR from islamabad ...

others are still waiting to hear something from islamabad

lets hope for good , inshaAllah your husband will get ppr in january

hi can u plz tell me wht documents your wife submited while applying for visa other than u hve already listed?? I am planning to visit my husband in a winter break of mine as we are having first wedding anniversary in the same month ... i have submitted my application in mid september and havent recived any mail from cic yet

thanks for answering- so i take it that your wife didnt have to show any financial statements from her side. also if you dont mind sharing what was the format of the recommendation letter from your MP? Was it like Mr So and SO is a model citizen and I support his application? thanks again. I am thinking of asking my wife to fill out her visit visa application.
