Alhumdulillah, I got my passport back with visa stamped, and yes they send me almost everything like Nikah Nama, Birth certificates, my daughter's statement of live birth, phone records and Pictures etc...
Visa is valid for 1 year but my medical expires on 19 July 2013, i am not sure if i there is a deadline for traveling...
I am thankful to everyone on this forum for being with me like a family for 2 years, and I pray for everyone to get out of this misery asap...

i believe you have to fly out b4 ur medical expires, hence they expedited your visa stamping...

So im here in pakistan visiting my hubby can I send Chc sum pix and my return ticket and also write tht I wud like
To leave with my husband. His medical 2nd is expiring in july an we have heard no news of PPR. So is it a gud idea

yes you can voluntarily send them additional info... and by the time they look at it it might be past your flying out date... however, if you are going to write that you wana bring hubby back, or leave with him, you have to be very careful as to how you word it... dont be demanding it, be requesting it politely... if it works great, if not, o well, wait it out.... on my additional doc request, i wrote that our 3rd anniversary is coming up and that the first two we spent together in Pak, and would really love to spend the third one together here in Canada... so indirectly requesting them politely to expedite our case... now waiting patiently for a reply...

temporary resident visa (visit visa)...

you can apply for one, refusal does not affect ur case...

Dear all - for those who got their passport/visa back recently, did they send your original documents along with it?

advise would be that when they request your pp, write a cover letter along with it requesting your documents back as well politely... should do the trick, coz at times they dont send back your packages, where they should... (i figure they lose some of them)...

For the ones who have already landed, where we have to go for luggage weight measurement , i hv confirmed from emirates 2 bags are allowed for checkin purpose carrying 15 kg each....any one ...? prompt reply would be appreciable thankss

ask your travel agent or the company you are traveling with, they will tell you a sure fire answer... its different for different carrier companies... and if you are asking about where to go within the airport, then when you get your boarding pass, that's where they also check your luggage in... make sure you are not exceeding the limit of weight on ea individual luggage bag... if you are allowed, 23 and 23, you cant do 30 in one and 16 in another, etc etc, you must be 23 and 23 or under... not over... you can get away by having an extra kg or 2 in your hand bag, as they usually dont really weight those... but its always good to stay within your given limits...

i am not too sure about this at the moment, but i believe when a person is travelling to canada for the first time, they are allowed extra luggage allowance, check with your travel agent if that is still true or not...

It seems they have made mistake regarding validity of ur visa, normally visa is valid till expiry of magical so it is better not to take any chance and travel before expiry of ur medical and not visa
