Salam.... Can any one those who contacted MP and their cases proceed further, plz tell me what MP replied U...? So i can hv an idea for my case as he has told to wait further n nothing else....!!! Plz Reply....!!!

That is the standard MP response. We have contacted our MP some 4 - 5 times in the past 10 months, and even though the staff themselves have been supportive, the response of their query is always the mechanical "its under process, no idea how long it would take"

Status changed decision made on I think around june 7 and address changed to Canadian city on June 10

Alert – Strike Action

The Professional Association of Foreign Service Officers (PAFSO) union is currently taking strike action. PAFSO union members responsible for processing visa applications have been walking out of offices in Canada and overseas.

Posted processing times for both temporary and permanent resident visa applications do not take into account work stoppages.

Anyone applying for a visa should anticipate delays and submit their application as far in advance as possible.

Contingency plans are already in place to ensure all offices remain open and are providing at least a minimum level of service. Priority will be placed on urgent humanitarian applications.

CIC continues to closely monitor the situation.

When CIC provides MAXIMUM level of service, it takes ages for us to see progress.
Now, they have decided to provide MINIMUM level of service lolz

I vote for the Liberals on federal level.
And I vote for the party which I think has the best plan in
Quebec when it comes to Provincial level.

Oh, i wanted to appy for trv, so then what gonna happen now, it is a wife case

Looking at your dates. I think you should apply for a TRV.

1) Because yours is a Nikah only case CIC will be asking for you for more proofs.
2) The processing time right now is 29 months, and it's been only 5 months since your file transferred to Islamabad.
3) Even if they are on strike, they are still doing the MINIMUM work. It might take longer for them to
process TRV but it shouldn't take 29 months.
