ask your travel agent or the company you are traveling with, they will tell you a sure fire answer... its different for different carrier companies... and if you are asking about where to go within the airport, then when you get your boarding pass, that's where they also check your luggage in... make sure you are not exceeding the limit of weight on ea individual luggage bag... if you are allowed, 23 and 23, you cant do 30 in one and 16 in another, etc etc, you must be 23 and 23 or under... not over... you can get away by having an extra kg or 2 in your hand bag, as they usually dont really weight those... but its always good to stay within your given limits...
i am not too sure about this at the moment, but i believe when a person is travelling to canada for the first time, they are allowed extra luggage allowance, check with your travel agent if that is still true or not...
