My time line 2011 to 2012
Case Submitted: 2 feb 2011.
AOR received: 18 March 2011.
Embassy notified me in july 2011 they ve started processing my case.
Re med and Police certificates: 15 may 2012
Passport required: 1 july 2012.
passport sent on 6 july 2012.
Almost 4 weeks have passed but I have not got my passport back. My question is, is this normal. please reply.

Hello all,

Looking for any advice here, received remed and ppr mid-July and done red-med on July 19 with ppr sent day after, when can the ppr be expected back? eCAS has not updated yet...I have vacation coming up and want time things right.

I did order caips which have notes about sending remed and phep but
I see no bfd, only due date for medical as September 21, 2012 but that's the date my file was created in 2011 and many other dates are same so not sure if that's bfd...would the bfd be 3 months after they sent? I had no date on remed or ppr but can estimate they sent mid to late June.

they are going accrording to the time line and there is very little that can chage it

How long did you have to wait to get the TRV? were you able to get the TRV within the time they have mentioned on their website? (70 days).

Hi, Can you please elaborate on what the phone calls were about?? they offered Visas? :O

my timeline is same and i know some other applicants that have the same timeline
everyone is waiting for re med
they did give a phone call to some applicants and offered them visa with a condition of traveling before the medical expires
but for us i think the only option is to wait for Re med

his wife received a phone call like 2 week ago end of july from islamabad
they told her that everything is ok with her file and since her medical is still good for another month
if she wants they can give her visa but she will have to travel to canada beofe her medical expires
because when her medical expires her visa will expire with it

and if she decides not to get the visa now they will ask her to get a re med at a later date
in that case visa can take anywhere from 2 months to another year

she sent her passport

received her passport with visa on it 2 days ago

and she will soon be here InshAllah

I got a very similar phone call. They asked me if I could travel to canada before my medical expires. I said yes and they emailed me the ppr. I have to send them the passport in 7 days otherwise they'll cancel the whole thing. But I'm travelling at the moment so it's going to be touch-and-go

do you know who received your package? its quite possible that they sent the letter again in error or may be they are looking for updated docs but you just sent them this month so it doesnt make any sense.... did you send everything in the given time period of 30 or 45 days?
i would send them the required documents again as theres no way to contact them and if you email them you will get the reply after more than a month that will delay your case....
thats my suggestion but someones wtih the same situation can help you better...

actually i received two letter on 4th july,
i respond one letter on 21th july and second letter on 3rd august which require three type of documents to be submited (a) updated forms (b) proof of financial support (c) proof of sponsor's residency in canada

on 11 august i received second letter(which is same to 3rd july letter) but require one type of documents that is ...proof of financial support in canada ,as i already sent these documents on 3rd august.

now i m confused why they require same documents again>>>>>
i need senior's opinion on this issue.
