its just the email or paper mail from mississauga

from here on you can go online and check your file status
and your file status should change in about 8 to 10 months

can anyone tell me with which carrier should i sent my passport. Fedex or Tcs which one is the best one.

TCS and i think you will also have to pay for return shipment ask TCS guys they know all about it
one more thing
TCS is the best service around but their small local office employeez can not be trusted with passport so better take a drive to their main office in the city where ever you live
ask them about it and they should be able to tell you about the process because they make that kind of shipments everyday

dont forget to take your tracking number mostly you can also find it on the recipt

if you payed for return shipping it will have the same tracking number as the out going one so its easy for you to keep an eye on your passport
but in any case ask the guy there to give you out going and in comming tracking number

My time line 2011 to 2012
Case Submitted: 2 feb 2011.
AOR received: 18 March 2011.
Embassy notified me in july 2011 they ve started processing my case.
Re med and Police certificates: 15 may 2012
Passport required: 1 july 2012.
passport sent on 6 july 2012.
Almost 4 weeks have passed but I have not got my passport back. My question is, is this normal. please reply.

Yeah it's normal....just be patient ...I'm also waiting for passport.Once they ask for ppr...it means they have almost done with your file.Gud luck

its almost a month that i did my medical.. but my ecas still doesnt say that medical received .. is it normal ?.. i asked IOM they said they have sent the reports to new dehli.. is there a possibility that it is lost or anything.. we dont even send the receipt to CIC that we have done our medical,,,

Same here, still just shows application received online. I saw from the list Sabii made that one person got ppr without their status changing. Even Khilafa said that the online status doesn't matter, it may or may not change.

Yup right ..there were few applicants whom ecase was Application received when they received passport request!

yes my status never changed on e-case it was written "MEDICAL RESULTS HAVE BEEN RECIEVED" SINCE SEPTEMBER 2011

They did first review on my file on 11th June and according to 60 days BFD. They spouse to take a look on my file again on August 11th. So, I'm expecting something like (Re Med or PPR) Insha Allah in next week or due to Eid holidays may be after Eid.
