Hello all,

Looking for any advice here, received remed and ppr mid-July and done red-med on July 19 with ppr sent day after, when can the ppr be expected back? eCAS has not updated yet...I have vacation coming up and want time things right.

I did order caips which have notes about sending remed and phep but
I see no bfd, only due date for medical as September 21, 2012 but that's the date my file was created in 2011 and many other dates are same so not sure if that's bfd...would the bfd be 3 months after they sent? I had no date on remed or ppr but can estimate they sent mid to late June.

Congratulations.......

i think it will take less or more 30 days for your visa to process INSHALLAH
dont confuse yourself with eCAS
and if you sent you medical its good for next 12 months all the other dates dont really matter once you get PPR

Last time i received the letter from CHC. they asked me to provide my orignal Nikah khat and download the forms and fill them. they also told me to download the link which was Afghan Questioner. i did complete all the forms and the nikah khat was made by my wife in canada..that was a marriage Certificate. then i send it to Immigration section.after some days they send another letter and mentioned send us your orignal marriage certificate issued from Afghan embassy or consulate in pakistan but they didnt asked again the forms....

what is BFD
what is CAIPS
what is PHEP

Bfd is bring forward date...a review date basically, the day your case is scheduled to be on the officers "desk" next

Caips is a computer system..there's a few programs they use to track your file...what I said here is I've ordered all my notes and details from then under a freedom of information request..so I have a copy of most notes comments etc they have made about my file

Phep is..I forgot what exactly it stands for but in the final step when they ask for passport, they also send a paper where you tell height, eye color etc...so same as passport request really

i know about freedom of information act as we use it all the time in government job, but i dont know way i never thought of it as our own right being canadians

how do you order that info because if you just email them they mostly tell you whats already on the website ?
