Good evening guys.

Today my pp was delivered at 10:30 am by tcs. And was signed by some one named
(SANA DESP).

Does any one know who is SANA?

mine was also received by SANA DESP.
i think she always receive packages bcoze mine back in jly, mine add documents were also received by her.

same here, my wife's docs were received by SANA as well.

one thing more for ur comments plz
Receiving remedical means that they are satisfied by ur relationship and proofs we provided.
Now What we should expect from them, if PPR then why there is different time they r taking to send PPR,
in some cases they send within 2 months and on some cases they take over 3 months,
why there is no uniformity in processing our cases by CHC-I.

not necessarily...my wife did remed in july yet still they asked over the phone recently to send video cd of marriage and more pictures. So it seems that just because you have been requested remed doesn't mean they are done with checks (background/security/etc.) or satisfied with relationship.

So for those who've gotten remed or remed+ppr, I think we're making the wrong assumption that the checks are done. This is why its taking long and this is why some get the passport back or ppr in a month or 4 months. Because depending on how satisfied they are with your info it may or may not take as long.

No updates from my side. It is been 3 months since my husband sent his passport. It is killing me now. I m going to see the MP tomorrow.

they're probably doing background checks and stuff. And I think it might be the same for those who got Remed + PPR. They might be doing checks and stuff before they can stamp and send out the PPR. They just saved a step by asking for both at the same time...not sure why though, maybe some internal decision to try and speed up things or to test a different procedure.

Yeah, that's what I think.

If someone's been living in the US since a month, can they apply for canadian immigration from LA (US) visa office?

that I am not sure...I heard in a post earlier that the results for remed are emailed from new dehli. So not sure...but I don't know how they work internally. Sounds like a pile of mess. My wife sent repcc like first week of august. We're in October now and yet they asked her if she sent repcc yet or not(when she got that call I was talking about). It could be that they're still processing incoming mail & incoming email and sorting it to the different applicants so that the officer can then follow up.

InshAllah nd hoping for tht. the question is if they can sort out the medicals which are done in august nd september then y not july? once CHC-I inquired from applicant about medical, nd the person gave the details of date, doctor nd place then y not sort it out nd get it out of the way. the person is not lying , coz we need it they don't. once u have the pp, doesn't tht assure u medical is done? plus, u have the receipt as a proof, y don't they look carefuly?

Your timeline is almost the same as mine. Didn't you get a call from CHC in august asking if you could land before the first medical expires? When was that medical expiring?

No I did not...Did you got a call and what did u do? Where they call my wife or me in Canada? Medical expired last week of August.

That's fine if the medical has already expired in August then don't worry about that call. I got that call cuz mine was expiring in September.

No updates for me too I think they did a mistake by askin for our Pps
N they aren't done Wth security checks.

I just told her to get a visit visa for my daughter from Pakistani High commission, Toronto ( unlike CHC-I they wont take ages) and I'll book a flight sometime by the and of this month...

PIA is bloody expensive! they are charging me over 200k for a return ticket
