I just told her to get a visit visa for my daughter from Pakistani High commission, Toronto ( unlike CHC-I they wont take ages) and I'll book a flight sometime by the and of this month...

PIA is bloody expensive! they are charging me over 200k for a return ticket

yea dont get it 200,000 is too expensive

its not even a season but still expensive

I don't think she'll be able to carry on a full time job in winter with an infant to take care of.....

I did and got few days ago...not much to tell...it appears they sent section a of medical to New Dehli on August 6...maybe that's something Islamabad has to do? Cause I think the actual results go straight to New Dehli...when they got PP 10 days earlier they make comment that medical is not complete...guess that means awaiting results.

There's no BFD...due date for medical was a month from date creates, September 6...

Interestingly security is showing not started but the answer they told my MP is that all background checks are done.

Salaam, My hubby received an objection letter from CIC and we were asked to provide 20 pictures with ruksati and complete wedding. I was in pk last 2 weeks and we had a complete wedding we mailed everything to CIC on the 26th of september. Now I wanted to know how long will it take for my hubby to get his visa. It's very difficult to live without him :S I enjoyed every single moment I spent with my hubby and it's so sad to be in Canada without him (((

No one can be sure...not even the idiots at CIC but I would estimate about 6 months as if they are satisfied with what you provided, you need to at least complete another medical etc. I would suggest you order GCMS notes in mid-late November.

I wish I could tell you it gets easier but will get tougher...just share as much time with spouse as possible and don't hide the frustration...each day starts and finishes, some are longer than others...

Have not received the notes as yet!! Dont they usually take 30 days (5 working days in a week!).

GCMS notes is the right way to proceed, it's weird they haven't responded yet, email them to get status as they have to respond within 30 days...maybe there was an issue with request.

Dear bro it is better u go and visit ur nearest MP.....he will give u some info about ur case....my wife di inquiry from mp 3 times and 3 times i got letter from embassy after inquiry
