Thats the reason why Pakistan is sitting where it is currently! And we all know what I am talking about!
Well everyone has their own preferences...I have my own...I like to live in an environment where I can get things done right away...in Pakistan if one has a lot of money then they can get things done right away...when I went to Pakistan...I had to get things done which were next to impossible...but it got done...one of the examples is that my luggage was over weight at Jinnah Airport...and PIA staff wouldn't let it go through...i took out 2000 rupees and it went right through...in a way PIA just bend the rules a bit for just a little side income...plus its customer service...no harm in it....just like phone companies here charge "system access fee"...now u tell me...if i have money and i am getting my own things done...wouldn't i like the place...as far as where pak is sitting right now...its thanks to Mr. Zardari...the most corrupt president in the history of Pakistan...

taluqaat and jugaarbazi is everywhere....even here....easiest example is getting good positions at banks here and I know that b/c I have worked at 2 big banks in Canada for 5 years...its really hard to get up there...1 has to do a lot of weightlifting in order to get up there at a bank...or have a referral in order to get even an entry level position...i have seen so many people who have no prior experience or proper education...but just because they are related to the manager...they got hired at a high paying position which requires a lot more qualification than they have...and now they can't even do the job properly...now u tell me... isn't that failure and unfair....

I really do appreciate all the help and info u have given to all of us about IMM...lekin sometimes you have to go out in the real world and see what is happening out there....I hate the Canadian system...1 never gets opportunity here...If u graduated in marketing...u need experience...if u graduated in this or that..."u need experience"...how the heck can we get experience until we get the opportunity...Pakistan's life is lavish life if 1 has money....life here is routine....i hateeeeee routine....

Bhai khush kardia yaar. You have said exactly how I feel too. I also work in one of the biggest back here and I have notice that there is alot more politics here as compare to Pakistan. Yahan log apke mun per kuch aur peechay kuch hotay hain atleast agar Pakistan mein apke sath koi bura hai to apke samney hai. Seconldy Pakistan mein banda daal roti khata hai lakin phr bhi ek trahan ka sukoon hota hai mene ek bhi din yahan sukoon nahin mehsoos kara jab k ALLAH ka dia sab kuch hai. Yes Canada have given me alot of opportunity and we have a peace of mind here that our loved once are living in a safe environment but even then the fact remain the same Pakistan's life is wayyyyyyyyy better and faster compare to a life here. Pakistan Zindabad....

I agree with wes bhai because it is the truth. Pakistan's current situation is mainly due to the people in the country.

I also think that its not only in Pakistan that this is happening, as raptorsfan and khanb5 said. There is a lot of favoritism here in Canada and if you have connections, things get done faster... you reach higher positions faster etc. This is everywhere.

And I understand your PoV, raptorsfan/khanb5... getting things done in Pakistan can be very easy. Take for example, I know from experience that people are lined up for hours (sometimes half a day) at the NADRA office to create "B" Form and Identification Card etc. But if you know someone in the office, they will let you pass and get your application done in 15-20 minutes MAX. I have seen this happen right in front of me. But things are getting worse as everyone is USING the system and whoever has money will get things done and others will suffer.

intellix bhai getting things done in Pakistan faster is not the only reason to its better then Canada but there other things too, like I said things are slow here. These ppl called Pakistan a third world country that is because we havent promote our country here mujhe jab bhi moka milta hai mein Pakistan ko promote karta hun for example yar agar yahan apki cell phone ki screen damage ho jaye ya kisi cheez mein bhi koi fault ho kehte hain woh cheez kachra hogayie they dont know how to fix things Pakistan mein gali gali mein talented bacha betha hua hai do mint mein fix kardetha hai woh cheez jo yeh log soch bhii nahin sakte. I was in karachi and I visit mobile market, rainbow centre, computer market near stock exchange and I was shoked k yar Mashallah pak mein itna talent hai.

even hamaray doctors bhi yahan k doctors se bhttttttt achay hain isi liay yeh log hamaray docotrs k liay itna tough kardete hain yahan kaam karna because they are fully aware that ALLAH ne hamare doctors k hath mein shifa di hai. Yahan per agar tang mein dard ho to tang katdo hath mein dard ho to hath katdo cance ho to marnay ki tayari karo they dont have any solutions. Last month I was having chest pain so I rush to hospital with my father trust me all I was doing there was run arround and after 5 hours do you know what medication they have given to me??? "Advil"

Pakistan is bessssssssssssssssst in everything and yes I dont think we are 3rd wolrd country. Proud of being a muslim and Pakistani.

Brother...I have seen the same things here...at the bank...I am not going to mention the name of the bank...I used to work there previously...

1.) There used to be a line up at the branch...if the teller knows the customer...and the customer is at the back of the line...the teller used to call the customer up and help them...
2.) Loan and Line of Credit Applications: Loan officers used to take the application numbers from the ones they know and twitch around the application so it gets approved...
3.) Reward System: Crediting reward points into the account of the ones they know...

Now this is just BANK....

I have seen long lines in License plate renewal place and a few people came got their things done and left...b/c they were related to agent sitting on the desk.

Your / your spouse’s file is in a queue to be scheduled for an interview. You will receive notification by mail advising you of the date and time of the interview well in advance of the interview date.
In the meantime, if there is any change in your address or in your family composition, inform us as soon as possible (see fax number and address below).
Note that applications in each category are processed on a first-in first-out basis. Please do not request an early interview as this is not possible.
At this time, you are not requested to provide any additional documents. If any further information or documents are required, you will be notified. We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.

I am so frustrated WES BHAI .. my husband is still in the interview queue, they wont waive it, i am sure from this email reply.
I was completely broke but I still spent the money to go see my husband (risking my job) for 3 weeks. I sent them copy of my ticket and new pictures taken during this visit. I dont know what else they want from us?? :( Like I mentioned in my earlier post on the forum, per my CAIPS notes I got NOV 17 2011 there are 2 points they indicated in (16c) of the caips notes which I think is the reason why they put us in the interview queue. 1st that he is 4 years younger than me and the second is private however they have marked that our marriage is genuine (so what is the problem!) I am really depressed, medications are not working anymore. Ive already been through a tough life and they are not making my present any easier. Please pray for me dear brothers and sisters.

sis sorry to hear that. You mention that you are on medication right?? so did you got a doctor note and submit it to CHC??? I have seen thing getting faster on humantarion basis and may be if you do so they might take that in consideration. May Allah Pak resolve your issue soon and make things easier for you. Ameen
