Residency Obligation and Sponsor Application.

I have sponsored my wife and its has been approved since december 2010. File was transffered on Dec 10th, 2011.
IMy PR card is expired and currently living in middle east these days. My plans are to move to Canada after my wife's application approval. Looks like we are getting closer to receive Supp Immigration form, Re PCC or remedical request sometime in Jan beased on current trend.

My question is what is the affect of my absense and expired PR card on my wife's application in CHC.

What if on Supplement forms she shows that she is living in MR with me ?
Since my application (sponsorship) is already approved do they still care whether I am in canada or out of canada?

I went last month to pick up my card from and they said I need to go thorugh an Interview, but look like I wouldnt be able to go for an Interview so after my wife's application approval I will apply for re entry permit and card renewel.
Please advise me with your expert opinion? I know a lot of experts guroo's are here and they know each prose and corn of canadaian immigartion system specialy with family sponsor?
Being a PR when you are out of Canada you DO NOT meet sponsorship criteria ........ the moment they will read your form they will issue a rejection letter with right of appeal ....... I know it sounds scary and you may curse me using the word Rejection Letter but I wish I could velvet hammer it ....... in my humble opinion .......... return to Canada as soon as possible and provide them the proof of your return with some bills paid and transactions conducted in Canada.

I agree with you dear ............. even when you pass their illogically crafted Medical Council of Canada (mcc.ca) exams ........ they still have only about 100 residency seats for international medical graduates (IMG) for which about 12000 international medical graduates are competing ...... and if u passed your exams more than a year ago being in Canada which means u have a clinical experience gap .......... u r pretty much out of luck for most part of the process ....... and you only get one chance every year (if you ever get) to appear for a residency interview and those who get generally get in remote God forsaken villages of Manitoba or Eastern Canada (where no Canadian educated Doctor wants to go) which is still fine but its even so hard to get that ........... Why does Govt of Canada do that ........ very simple answer ...... a licensed Doctor in Canada earns between $ 170,000 to $250,000 take home and he/she charges the bill directly to Govt of Canada, in other words he is on Govt payroll indirectly .......... every new doctor means a huge cost for the Govt ..... as much as they wine and moan about shortage of doctors ......... they dont afford new doctors ........ USA is a different story because their doctor gets paid by private insurance companies where the premium is paid by public not Govt ........ hence more money and better chances ...... if you get a chance watch the documentary of IMG's in Canada ..... A BIG WAIT ....... the movies tells you about the failure of Canadian system to recognize IMG's when adding doctors to communities is part of every political party's platform .... yes politicians lie here too ........... Good luck to migrating doctors to Canada ........ there will be a long time before you hear this word DOCTOR about yourself in Canada .......Dental Doctors dont need residency ........ their exams are equally difficult but they are luckier than regular doctors that they only have to pass the exams and start practicing ........ but keep the hopes high because it does not cost you to hope and it keeps your hormonal system performing better than otherwise and at the end ......... everyone has his/her own luck ........ some are darn lucky but most are unlucky in Canadian system of recognizing a foreign doctor ....... hope it helped those who needed bit insight into Medical Mysteries of Canada and history does not make everyone a hero ........ :)
Very thing is true but is there anyone who can tell me actual solution of my problem "Medical declaration form" to send signed medical declaration to CHC.

Brother ........... the form is sent to you by regular mail or link is provided .......... unfortunately few sponsored spouses doctor's got it and most did not .......... the form is only to obtain your consent you that you will not practice in Canada until you obtain an unrestricted license ......... I would say send them an email and ask them for the link ..... or fax them a written request along with the copy of email you received from CIC ....... by the way how did you secure residency in USA ....... can you explain a bit I know I asked this in PM as well but you are not able to answer on pm yet

Thanks for your suggestion.
For residency in USA its hard work and InshahAllah if someone works hard will get it. USMLE steps + volunteer work for as research and observation and lengthy process of interviews. Its a long process for sure and requires a real commitment in term of time and money.

Congrats ..... how many steps you had to write for USMLE and where did you do your volunteer and research work .... I assume in USA .... I heard that they dont issue H-I visa to IMG's easily ........ and what is the average percentile you need for USMLE steps to secure residency ...... I assume you have to look into every state to get an interview call at least ........ how long it took you brother ...... and sorry for asking you too many questions ....... are you USA resident or citizen?

thanks you answer my question. That's what exactly I was trying to say that you only have experience just on this experience and I think you are completely aware that not every applicant share their experience on this forum there is only small % of us applicant using this forum and therefore I think without having some additional experience beside being on this forum you should not discourage anyone before they can even take positive step.

I would like to share my personal experience with my lawyer who is being in this field for last 30 years in fact we all are using a forum created by him he own this forum Mr. David Cohen. Since I applied for my wife spousal visa he asked me voluntarily if I would like to get my wife here on visit visa and have indicated to me that it wont create any trouble for my case and also the process is easy and simple and as long as your case is strong there will be no trouble obtaining visit visa. The only reason I didn't proceed with it because I haven't done the ruksati yet and due to our cultural restriction my in-laws wont let me do it before ruksati which I am agree too.

sorry to everyone for sharing such a lengthy story but the whole point is that if such a qualified and professional lawyer said that its possible then for sure it is and we should not limit our self to experience share on this forum we should think out side the box.
Assalamoalecom,

Bhai i do agree wht u tht full marriage is not necessary ......u dnt need to send them any prove lyk mehndi, ruksati or valima pic.............but when we fill our document we dont need to mention cic is this a nikkah case or full ruksati they have nothing to do wht tht just mention tht this person have been married on this date/for sure reception place/marriage card thts all they need ....dnt need to send 100 pic even if we send them 5 pics thts enough(but the decent onces tht make sense) for them they dnt have enough tym to c all those 100 pics..........lastly ur wife address must have ur home address on form.......then it doesnt matter whether its Nikkah case or full ruksati they work same way(thts all true happened wht one of my friend).

wes786 do you have any sort of official statement which indicates 90% visit visa get refused. With all the respect I would strongly suggest you that if you cant boost up the moral of other forum members then kindly at least refrain from spreading negativity here.

Became-a-loner is ABSOLUTELY RIGHT.

My case was REFUSED 2 yrs ago because of this. My hubby was in USA while my case was bing processed in CHC-ISB.

Then my hubby moved to Canada and we applied again ....Now I am waiting....AGAIN.......

W.salam and Congratulations!!! Your husband received the same interview date as Resham wow both on the same day. Anyways I have posted the questions above that might help in preparing for the interview. The form you are talking about is the supplementary form for the natuonals of Pakistan try the link below:

www.canadainternational.gc.ca/pakistan/assets/pdfs/PakistaniNationals-Form-en.pdf

The proof of relationship could be anything including emails, chats, phone call logs etc. And for dependents you will need to provide anything that has your name and kids name on any document that proves they are your dependents. I guess the birth certificate is not enough proof for them :S no surprises there...
