So clearly the "marriage not genuine" is not the issue they are satisfied with the marriage and evidence that you have already provided them and thats why in the email they also said they don't require anything from you and will contact you if they do. One reason for the interview is for sure that you are older than your husband so they want to clear things out about whatever their doubts are. 2nd reason could be the other issue which you don't want to share or it might not be as I am unaware what it is, but stay strong and things will work out InshAllah. As we saw today that resham and bloomingflower both recieved their interview dates so keep praying and your husband will also recieve the interview date soon InshAllah.

UPDATE:
I wrote to CHC ISB 10 days ago and finally got an email from them, read below:

Your / your spouse's file is in a queue to be scheduled for an interview. You will receive notification by mail advising you of the date and time of the interview well in advance of the interview date.
In the meantime, if there is any change in your address or in your family composition, inform us as soon as possible (see fax number and address below).
Note that applications in each category are processed on a first-in first-out basis. Please do not request an early interview as this is not possible.
At this time, you are not requested to provide any additional documents. If any further information or documents are required, you will be notified. We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.

I am so frustrated WES BHAI .. my husband is still in the interview queue, they wont waive it, i am sure from this email reply.
I was completely broke but I still spent the money to go see my husband (risking my job) for 3 weeks. I sent them copy of my ticket and new pictures taken during this visit. I dont know what else they want from us?? :( Like I mentioned in my earlier post on the forum, per my CAIPS notes I got NOV 17 2011 there are 2 points they indicated in (16c) of the caips notes which I think is the reason why they put us in the interview queue. 1st that he is 4 years younger than me and the second is private however they have marked that our marriage is genuine (so what is the problem!) I am really depressed, medications are not working anymore. Ive already been through a tough life and they are not making my present any easier. Please pray for me dear brothers and sisters.

Its okay but I believe Canadian system does not have that much mess as much Pakistani system has. And you were talking about money, Brother not everybody has money in Pakistan, so why shouldn't we go for something that is good for everybody, where money or links won't be matter. I have also worked in different sectors in Canada but it is not like Pakistan at all, and yes I have also worked for a Bank in Pakistan, not in the branch but in controlling office and I know what was used to happen. I don't think there can be any argue if we compare Canadian and Pakistani system. Pakistani system works only for politicians, rich or for those people who have somebody in power.

Bhai udher to ous waqat tak elections ka pata hi nahi chalta jab tak kuch log murder na ho jayen different parties kay election kay dinoon main

Well everyone has their own preferences...I have my own...I like to live in an environment where I can get things done right away...in Pakistan if one has a lot of money then they can get things done right away...when I went to Pakistan...I had to get things done which were next to impossible...but it got done...one of the examples is that my luggage was over weight at Jinnah Airport...and PIA staff wouldn't let it go through...i took out 2000 rupees and it went right through...in a way PIA just bend the rules a bit for just a little side income...plus its customer service...no harm in it....just like phone companies here charge "system access fee"...now u tell me...if i have money and i am getting my own things done...wouldn't i like the place...as far as where pak is sitting right now...its thanks to Mr. Zardari...the most corrupt president in the history of Pakistan...

taluqaat and jugaarbazi is everywhere....even here....easiest example is getting good positions at banks here and I know that b/c I have worked at 2 big banks in Canada for 5 years...its really hard to get up there...1 has to do a lot of weightlifting in order to get up there at a bank...or have a referral in order to get even an entry level position...i have seen so many people who have no prior experience or proper education...but just because they are related to the manager...they got hired at a high paying position which requires a lot more qualification than they have...and now they can't even do the job properly...now u tell me... isn't that failure and unfair....

I really do appreciate all the help and info u have given to all of us about IMM...lekin sometimes you have to go out in the real world and see what is happening out there....I hate the Canadian system...1 never gets opportunity here...If u graduated in marketing...u need experience...if u graduated in this or that..."u need experience"...how the heck can we get experience until we get the opportunity...Pakistan's life is lavish life if 1 has money....life here is routine....i hateeeeee routine....

WES bhai, thanks for the comments. I am sure they are wondering about the 2 reasons and want some face to face clarification from my husband. Age should not be a huge factor but then again CHC ISB needs any excuse to question. I am sure it was a local Pakistani officer who reviewed my file and recommended my case to the Interview Queue. The caips notes was full of my personal history, it's seriously ridiculous!
I sent them a doctor's note in JAN 2011, basically they dont care if we are going mentally insane. I dont believe that they are really following the first come first serve basics because people who had applied after me have received their VISA's and are in Canada with their spouses.
What is RESHAMS and BLOOMS AOR dates?? and when were they placed in the Interview Queue?
WES I can PM you the second reason, perhaps you can comment on this situation ... We are praying everyday WES bhai, my mother just came back from Hajj and made a TWAUF just for me and my husband and prayed for our case to complete. INSHALLAH ALLAH will fulfill our prayers soon, we are waiting for that day.

Age difference does make a differnce on one's case, not so much if girl is younger even by 6-8 years but in your case its the other way around and your 2nd reason could've too who knows. The doctor's note doesn't effect too much, but I have seen in some cases it has made a difference and that could just be pure luck; in your cases it didn't mater. The first IN first OUT only applies to simple and streight forward cases, if you have a complicated case with travel/work history, government positions, military, worked/study outside of Pakistan, are in second marriage, age difference, nikah only without any proofs etc then it will take longer than others. Blooming is September 2009 AOR and Resham is October 2009 AOR and they both got an interview letter today for December 8th as their scheduled date. If you feel confortable messaging me the reason I might have some information on it, and I might not so its totally up to you if you want to share it. Anyways, have faith and stay strong InshAllah, Allah will make things easier for you and your family and will help you get through this soon.

Brother...I have seen the same things here...at the bank...I am not going to mention the name of the bank...I used to work there previously...

1.) There used to be a line up at the branch...if the teller knows the customer...and the customer is at the back of the line...the teller used to call the customer up and help them...
2.) Loan and Line of Credit Applications: Loan officers used to take the application numbers from the ones they know and twitch around the application so it gets approved...
3.) Reward System: Crediting reward points into the account of the ones they know...

Now this is just BANK....
I have seen long lines in License plate renewal place and a few people came got their things done and left...b/c they were related to agent sitting on the desk.
I realize that we are going bit off-topic here, but here are my three cents on this debate.
The cornerstone of any socitey's success -- and welfare of its people -- depends primarly on the accessibility and provision of three things to its citizens on an equal basis:

1) Food -- In Canada, the average bill of the basic food items -- meats, vegetables, milk, fruit etc -- for a person is around $150 a month. Even a person working on a minimum wage can afford these items (assuming a minium wage salary of $400 a week). Now you tell me, how much a laborer makes in Pakistan? 300 rupees a day? How can this person afford to pay for meat or even milk for his family when a single liter of milk can cost up to 70 rupees.

2) Health -- Yes, in Pakistan, you can have very easy access to private health care -- but only if you can afford high bills of the mony-sucking doctors. Poor people can only afford to be pushed around in pulic hospitals, where they are treated like second-class citizens. In Canada, too, the health system is far from perfect -- with long delays for some procedures. But at least, the core of the heatlh system is based on equality. Anybody can see a family physician, without having to pay a cent. Even the wealthiest people can't jump the queues to see specialists, and they have to look to the US or other places abroad.

3) Public Education -- In Pakistan, one only have to see how many poor kids of school-age can be seen working in auto shops or dishwashing in restuatants or toiling in agriculture fields. We can only lament the state of public education in Pakistan: schools with no basic infrastructure, poorly educated teachers themselves, vilages with no high schools. In Canada, on the other hand, the free and equal accessibility to primay and secondary education is the key element of public policy. The literacy rate of close to 100% is a testament to the success of public education. In Canda, every child gets the same oppurtunity and platform for basic education and government loans will be available for every student for pursuing higher education.

I know we can complain about favoritism -- or napotisim -- in Canada. Here 'safarish' is replaced with references, but at least in Canada, the basic oppurtunities are available to every citizen. If you work hard, the rewards will follow sooner or later. I have never come across anybody in Canada who has university or college education and been without work for a long time. What about Pakistan? Rishwat or nepotisim will get you the job regardless of your educational competencies-- otherwise, good luck.

What I am saying here is that we can nitpick about every system, but getting the big picture right is the key, and Canadian picture has citizen equality written all over it, whereas that of our dear homeland is as murky as River Ravi these days! Of course, if you are rich you are more likely to have a more comfortable life in Pakistan, as you can appropriate more bang for your buck at the expense of general public.
