Correction; I was just getting cost information for my cousin who wants to apply here for university and the cost for an international student is anywhere between $13000(only tuition) to $28000(Includes: tuition, supplies, transportation, food, accomodation). This information is from last week and from two universities in Saskatchewan

If you have done from proper universities everything is recognized. I know people from institutes like LUMS, IBA and N.E.D, they got very good jobs and had multiple offers of admissions as well from York, UofT etc etc.


But yes, If you have done from 1 HOME/SHOP like institutions , you will have a very tough time here..and you will need to do a lot of struggle.

Not even re-pcc, imm forms or remedical? Nothing?!? Are you sure nothing got misplaced in the mail??

Yep thats $13000/yr for 5 courses so times that by 4 if its a 4yr program you are planning to get into. University education in Canada ain't cheap I will tell you that much especially for international students.

Hello everyone, hope u all doing good in this month. I need help from people who may know the answer or for those people who are sponsoring their husbands from Afghanistan. As most of u know that my husband did the re-medical and re-pcc in january and we send all the info to islamabad, but in march he got a phone call saying we havenot received ur re-pcc plese send us again..so he send it again. after that they were silent and when ever i was sending e-mails it was in queue to be reviewed by immigration this and that...but last nite i send another e-mail and got a reply this morning that "your file in in queue to be reviviewed and we are still waiting for the re-pcc" i was shocked to read that..are u kidding me..it has been more than 6 months and still u didn't boder to contact me/ e-mail me for re-sending the pcc. I have no idea what is going on there and this is gona be 3rd time sending the pcc again. i am sick of it. this is the way they are wasting our time with out notifying us what is missing this and that. so anyways, i have a question for those sisters who are sponsoring their husband from afg. so for the 2nd re-pcc are u doing it from afghanistan or we have to do it through here. becoz the 1st time it was done through ottawa and second time afg, so i have no idea how other people are doing this. so i am so lost dont know what to do. and if i send e-mail they dont respond me properly. oh yah, also when i traveled 2 moths ago i did not infrom islamabad and didnot send any proof, becoz last year when i send some documents they never received it. do u guys think if i can send my bording pass, e-tickets,and some other doucments through e-mail so they would get them. please guys help me, and also if it is possible plz remember me in ur prayers...........i would apriciate that..i will wait for the responses..

Ok sis did u have any courier receipts when u send repcc 2nd time. Why dont u email them that u did send 2nd time repcc with courrier tracking #. As i heard In Afghanistan mailing system is very poor. I m sure if u email them with your dhl/fedex tracking # that will expedite your case. The thing is now that does they really receipt your documents. I m sure you can still track with tracking # who received your documents from CHC.

Dear alpha1980, thnx for your quick respond. but in afg if you do re-pcc or re-medical they dont give you the paper, they just send it through their office and they only give u a confirmation number that we send.that is it that is all..nothing else. i wish if they would give the paper so we could send or fax by ourselves. it is against the law if they hand in the pcc to the applicant.

Wow, thats very unusual! Well seems like either you are sending those documents at the wrong address or they are not getting out of Afghanistan. NOrmally from Pakistan, we send it via TCS or FedEx and they get there the next day. What I would suggest you do is, if its easier to get it done in Ottawa, do it from there and courier it, so that way you will have a tracking number and a proof of documents received at the embassy, also include all the proofs you mentioned to be on a safe side for extra support. How did you send the documents in the past?
