Better not to ask 2015 applicants .. for us it's taking very long time but I think 2017 applicants are lucky! Wish u the best and a speedy process!

Gd luck nchalla ma betawwel halla2 Bil 2017 ma ra7 ytawlo l processing max 1 year . Ni7na 2dem so 8er case don't compare your case to ours .

Hi alaaalmasri,

All cases here are straight forward. No applications were returned. They were going smoothly until they reached the security check and got stuck right there. Every time we ask why they are taking long, they say your application is going through the normal process of security checks and those checks take time. Although for other people it only takes a few weeks, there are cases here stuck on security checks for over a year. Those cases did not travel or serve military. Their only fault is they are Muslim Arabs.

My relative got a refusal letter last month. Although they provided enough proof that they are married, CIC was not convinced and they refused their application. They are going to re-submit a new fresh application not because if they appeal, it may take even longer to get the visa.

There should be no refusal without an interview. In case off any ambiguity, the applicant will be given the chance to prove them otherwise through providing documented proof during the interview. Our problem is not in that; the problem is with the security checks that are taking ages

El applications el jded mafroud yekhdo 12 month , hek 2alo..bas ente w 7azzak i guess ..
Applicants li ba3don 3a heyda al forum sarlna 16 month at least w fi nes aktar mn 2 yrs ..

I don't think the refusal came after yrs of waiting...usually refusal comes right after the interview or during the process with CIC ..but not after its stuck with background check ..unless cbsa found out Something thats considerd a red line u know crime , or bankruptcy etc..

I miss him ..Plz give us further details.. how they provided sufficient proves and the application was refused! After how many months they got refused? Did they attend an interview?
