Moon, I understand your frustration and I can feel your pain because I am going through the same thing but I don't like the way you are talking. Everyone here is waiting for the same thing and we all miss our spouses and are struggling. Some even have children who never met their parent. So please, instead of saying things that would make people more frustrated and discouraged, say things that would encourage them and give them hope.
There is only one reason that would make your application hold until 2022 and that is if your application got rejected and you had to appeal it. If you are sure that your application will be rejected, that is a problem. Otherwise, please be optimistic and 7aj tfawli 3leina ya sheikha. Allah kbeir and there is a good reason that we don't know behind the delay of our applications.
Are you in Ottawa? I'd like to meet you in person.

So we came up with an idea.
We might do something, like all meet in Ottawa beside the Parliament and do something about it.
We DO NOT all live in Ottawa, but we are willing to make that trip with our children if it might make a difference, or get attention.

So we came up with an idea.
We might do something, like all meet in Ottawa beside the Parliament and do something about it.
We DO NOT all live in Ottawa, but we are willing to make that trip with our children if it might make a difference, or get attention.
IF you guys are interested in joining, please let us know.

Hey everyone I'd like to share my experience. My husband submitted sponsorship application for me on june 2015 on march 2016 I did an interview in Beirut visa office then the security check started a month later on April . My husband contacted the mp they said it's undergoing security checking it's been a year approximately under checking and nothing new for now . I'm wondering when am I going to reunite with my husband it's been a very stressful process. It's not men or women I don't know why they're neglecting our files when are we going to get a visa . I wish u guys over there do anything like fjay said pls help us end up this nightmare as soon as possible . We're all stressed . Wish u guys good luck and we hear good news as fast as possible . I don't know why they take refugees and complete their applications in 2 months only , while they don't care for our cases that's ridiculous :'( :'(

I feel u! We applied in April; our case is a very straight forward case and very clean history for both of us. BG checks are pending since year too. I've read in another thread that sometimes BG checks take up to 20 months. We dunno who to believe. So painful! Refugees and Express Entry applications are being processed in 6 months while our applications are taking ages! Family applications should be prioritized especially when there are kids involved.

We can do nothing But wait and be patient.. may all couples get reunited soon soon soon!

They reduced processing times for new applications I feel like 2015 papers are cursed! Bg checking conducted by cbsa have no time limit it's up to their mood when they like to stamp the file a visa will be issued . The problem is that they don't give a date or a specific time so we know what to do . For how long are we going to wait . This system is messed up !! There's no missing papers. It seems that Middle East files are taking long , maybe they need years to get sure that it's genuine relationship . Can we do anything other than contacting mp because it's useless :-[

We MIGHT all meet in Ottawa in front of the Parliament and do something about this.
Mind you, we do not all live in Ottawa but we will travel there if it will make a difference.
We just need a big group of people whos applications are taking long to join us.

We want to get the government's attention regarding this matter.
Since the Mp's can't do much, this is a step forward.

Moon_23 according to cic website processing time was 17 months when we applied for me it's 21 months for now others 24 months . What they post isn't precise .

All applications processed before December 2016 will be finalized by December 2017 according to the CiC website. Few more months, were almost there...

It says application are processed in 13 month now ..i feel like new applicants will get their PPR before 2015 applicants .
