AUGUST 2014 OUTLAND Applicants

We just got our Sponsorship Approval by email. Says that:

"You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. Accordingly, the Application for Permanent Residence for your relative(s) has been forwarded to a visa office abroad for further processing."

We submitted on Aug 21 with the latest forms so there were no requests to redo anything. Says that our application has been forwarded to CPC Ottawa for further processing.

I'm watching you carefully because it seems we are in a similar boat! Did you resubmit the form? If so, when did you receive that email?

Our package was delivered on 8/27 but we haven't received AOR yet...should we be concerned?? I see other people who submitted just a few days before us that already have sponsor approval. Does lack of AOR mean they aren't working on ours yet? D:

they haven't been sending out AORs

Hopefully this week will be a busier week for CIC on SA approvals. Our August spreadsheet is looking a little thin with lack of approvals. We are already at 50 day average waiting time...so slipping past July average approval time...granted we had issues with form changes. Still keeping fingers crossed...

I really think it's the form changes that are causing such delays, my fear is that what we will be looking at is 45 days from when they received the updated form.

I got the request on Aug. 27th and it arrived at CIC on the morning of Aug. 29th

CIC has just updated the timeline. They are working on files received on Aug 20. What about us? Does that mean we lost two months waiting time and now it's a restart? No matter our file was returned or need updated?

We got our Sponsorship Approval this morning

They didn't ask for an updated form other then IMM5406 which i seemed to have missed.

On to the longer wait. Our application was kept in Mississauga.

The spreedsheet doesn't seem work to me..When I open it it shows me nothing..

I sent off our application packet from Germany on August 13...I was able to track the package so I know it's been successfully delivered on September 2.
Are we going to get a notification when they start working on it? Like an email?
Or is it normal to not hear anything and they already started working on the sponsor application?

It's confusing to me. I sent it off a while ago and haven't heard anything.

Most people don't get any notification from CIC until SA, except if more documents/new forms are required. If your application was received September 2, I wouldn't worry just yet.

It works for me but sometimes opens a Pivot Table 1 tab instead of Applicant list and its empty. If thats the reason than just click on the applicant list tab at the bottom. If not that than I have no idea why its not displaying propperly
