They asked for my passport on Feb 24th, was submitted on Feb 26. I gave my friend a power of attorney to submit and take my passport . They said a couple of days , but so far nothing. Hopefully by Tuesday , I'll have my passport in hand :)

Probably not .. I sent them an email on Jan 21th I asked for the information about our application and they responded the next day .. We received approval from Missisauga on Nov 12th and the app was transfered to Vienna VO on Dec 3rd . ECAS status was changed in the morning and in the afternoon...

They requested only passport from me

My ECAS status is still IN PROCESS even though they requested passport.

ECAS changed to IN PROCESS finally .. They started working on app n Feb 20th.Hope we will hear soon something from them to send the passport :D :D

This morning my ecas was changed to IN PROCESS and just a couple hours later received request to send my passport ... Finally :D :D :D Thank God and thank you all. Good luck to all,still got fingers crossed for others who are waiting :D

We had to re-submit the updated form and that is the reason why took 3 months in Mississauga. And I sent an email to Vienna last month looking for info did they recieved our application,and for surprise they responded the next day,that the file was transfered on Dec 3rd . Gonna be in Manitoba...

We are waiting 6 months now just hope it would be all over in 1-2 months,and finally be with my husband. And they are from Bosnia too. They even got approval from Mississauga a month after us,but that just luck like youre said .

No I understand what you want to say.. One couple who applied after us ( september applicant ),she sposored her husband and got approval from Vienna on Feb 10th . And that is what I dont understand .

Whats going on with Vienna office . I thought they are working faster now,it has been 3 months how our application was approved in Mississauga and no a word from them. Its so frustrating and it getting harder every day,we should spend our first months in marriage together not on the diferent...

You have to pay fees before,because you have to send the receipt with your application.. And its the best way to pay whole amount right away.

We have paid yesterday and my husband had sent to Vienna office a scanned receipt via email and now just hope they will contact us soon
