I'm new to the forum but I've been reading it for a couple of weeks. Here's my Timeline

Application Sent: 31 July 2014
Application Received: 01 August 2014

Notice about updated forms: 26 August 2014
Submitted new forms: 15 September 2014

waiting for SA hiiiii, i sent mine on sep 16 bt didn't heard a word from them yet.....did u contact them

So our application was received Aug 25th. We haven't received any word whatsoever about forms or SA. Our app should be pretty straightforward (US applicant, no dependents, sponsor has stable job/no issues that would cause a problem). I'm starting to get worried here as I see people with later application dates already getting SA and we haven't heard a thing. Any advice on what I should do?

I wouldn't worry about not receiving any word...neither did I nor many others until they finally got notice that they have SA. You are a bit early if your app was received Aug 25. There was only one other member who applied after you and got SA...and there is no way to know why. I would guess that since you are applying from the US and don't believe you have any possible red flags that it will likely be next week given the past approval track in August.

Can you add your info to the August spreadsheet? Just click on my link and fill in the dates so it can go on the list.

I just called CIC call center, and they told me they haven't received any updated forms yet. Thus my file is considered as an "incompleted" file, so the 41 days doesn't apply to me...

I send my documents in Aug 11, and got a notice to update the new form on Sept 04. I sent back the form and they sign on it on Sep 11 (I think), and now they told me no files received yet... I'm getting worried. What does that mean? My mail lost or it's just a general answer means nothing?

Today i send out my updated form. They will receive it by tomorrow. Hopefully i will hear something within week.
