Congratulations! Mine didn't go in process until after my husband got his PPR and had the visa issued hahaha. It's a good sign and hopefully within a couple days you'll get the PPR!

I also applied immigration for my wife in New Delhi Visa Office and got the passport request, but no progress after that

Here are the details:

Medicals Done: July 23, 2012
Application Sent: Aug 15, 2012
Application Received by CIC: Aug 17, 2012
Sponsorship Approval: Sep 28, 2012
Passport Requested: Oct 16, 2012

Did anyone get anything with the same timeframe?

I m sept applicant and NDVO has my passport since nov 2012....but by the looks of it you should be getting some updates pretty soon..

Just thought I would mention that I got an email today from the Embassy, asking for me to send them again a few forms and the 2 kinds of police checks we have here (Certificado de Antecedentes & Hoja de Vida del Conductor). The same happened to the other 2 Chilean applicants that are members here in the forum, which leads me to believe it's part of the normal process in Santiago VO.

I don't think it means much, except that they have opened my folder and might be working on it. eCas hasn't changed, either.

I also choked on the water I was drinking when I got the email from the Embassy, thinking it was PPR

It's good that they're working on your file. Hopefully they get through it super quick and when they receive the 2 certificados de Buena conducta they will issue the PPR!

So when I checked my email it said something about Immigration and I almost passed out... then I realized it was just this site lol.. Oh my.. this process makes us all nuts!

Hopefully they will! If I hear something from them by March I will consider myself lucky.
