Thanks.. very frustrated and broke. We managed to get fingerprinting done this morning and both FBI and Cali state checks off by courier today.

FML

California Department of Justice returned our request for the police check back saying they want the fingerprints done on their special card (which they included one of). Because I just happened to have $35 for fingerprinting and then shipping costs burning a hole in my pocket.

Only have 1 month left to get everything together.

Ok application for Criminal Rehabilitation is now on route to Buffalo for delivery tomorrow. Including the processing fee I've probably spent almost $500 getting all the certs together and shipping. Here's hoping it is just a formality and that our application will get a seal of approval shortly. The form letter said it would take months to process. Bad enough my husband's medical expires this month.

Just need some good news :S

STILL waiting for ANY kind of update. This is SO frustrating!! And they say their motto is bringing families together?? not as i see it haven't had ANY update since they said they received our stuff. Anyone know how long medical is good for ?? I will be MOST upset if we have to pay for that again!!

Medical results are valid for 1 year.

Hopefully the updates will show up soon. I read on Buffalo's website today that next week they are closing down the office to most walk-ins to clear up a backlog.

Emailed my MP again. They responded today that they will request an update from Buffalo. Hate not knowing if there is something stuck in the mail right now.

Hello, I was reading all of your posts. My husbands papers were recieved on February 11 2011. He has been contacted by the embassy 2 times since to drop off some papers they asked for. I am just wondering if your husband had recieved his visa yet and is with you? and if you have any information on how your process went? I am so curious.
