My family had the CSQ application in the middle, which took about a month, but I don't know whether this will slow our application or whether it just happens simultaneously while our application continues to advance in the queue (hope it's the latter!). The weirdest thing happened with my application, as well as a few others who applied in August, our apps all got to CIC on the 13th, and the whole month we watched everyone get there AORs/Approvals and for whatever reason it was like our little group just got skipped right over, we were the last people to get our sponsor approvals. Weird.
Anyway, I don't know if that would change the processing for the second stage, I would have to guess not since both of our files were transferred at the same time (well, actually, mine was in Ottawa the whole time, my sponsor approval came from there). We shall see!
