I think it's good to be optimistic! But don't put all your eggs in that basket in case it's a big disappointment, but hopefully for an 8 month total processing time rather than 14 months I think is perfectly acceptable!kyc221 said:my office takes 14 months too, and my VO AOR email said the exact same thing.

ps: Your hubby might have it right LOL! I lived in DR for the past 3 years, and let me tell you, it's only December and it's already freezing to me! (I work at a school and have to do recess duties outside ) so he might have the right idea there LOL!
pps: Yesterday morning my ecas changed to Decision made, so ecas wasn't far behind in the actual goings on of my husband's application.
