Hey,

It depends where it says "decision made". There are 2 parts on ecas. The first one is under "sponsorship application", and decision made there means that you have been approved as a sponsor, and file transferred to New Delhi.
The second one is under "application for PR", and it usually says "application received", "in process" (when they start opening your file and looking at it), or "decision made". If it says "decision made" there, then your visa has either been approved (and no interview), and sent back to you, or denied. In both cases, they send you a letter - and your passport back, either with the COPR (confirmation of PR) + the visa so you can go to Canada, or the passport + the denial letter.

Now - you say you have had "decision made" for 2 months, if it's under the "sponsorship part", that's OK and you probably need to wait a little more. If it's under "application for PR", then you need to contact New Delhi VO as soon as possible as you should have heard back from them, and received your passport.

Good luck,
Sweden

I would say try and send them a "case specific enquiry" explaining the "urgency" of the situation - 2 months after decision made and no news, that's a lot of time.go here, and use the link "case specific" and follow the instructions. Sometimes the VO respond better to questions arriving through this channel (I found it true for London at least).

Good luck, I hope you hear from them very soon,
Sweden

thnx for the info Sweden.. could you please provide me the link for case specific enquiry?

Sent in my passport yesterday. Had to get new photos taken cause I sent all my extra's to my sponsor, and the place that took them didn't save it on file. Luckly they didn't charge me for new ones. They should be recieving my passport today at noon (not sure if it's noon eastern or pacific time). Hoping that everything else goes fast! :D

Landed today!!! We started out early yesterday morning, but by the time we got to Buffalo I was too sick to wait in line at the border. I changed our GPS to send us to the nearest hotel, and I spent the night in and out of the washroom. :-X :-X :-X

It turned out to be around the corner from the Bills stadium. Leaving the hotel this morning got a little hairy, but when we got to the border, there were as many cars as there were open lanes. Southbound traffic, as you might imagine, was awful, but we were in and out of immigration in no time. So, if you want a quick and easy landing, do it at the Peace Bridge when the Bills are playing at home. :P :P :P 8) 8) 8) ;D ;D ;D

Congradualtions :) nice start for the new year!

Personally, i'm itching in my bones already! Waiting for something so vital is a special form of torture, LOL

Happy New Year to everyone, and let's hope Ottawa does not take too long of a vacation over the holidays. Best new years eve wish, to get that damn letter in the mail on Wednesday ;D
