Wayne, I want to say that this is OUR thread, and we are not moving away. these + or - could be given by temp visitors to our room and have no impact on me personally, as I even did not look at that part until you noted you was negged.

Yeah it seldom bothers me, but when you see 3 in a row you start to wonder what you're actually posting that's upsetting people? ;)

Wayne.

Hi everybody

I sent my application on Nov. 15th. Haven't included the old passports copies though. It's nice to join u all here, whereas I wish I had come to know this forum earlier. Wish Luck for everybody in line. ;)

I agree with everyone who is favor of this forum. Personally, this is one of the only things that is keeping me sane right now. If I hadn't found this forum and not heard anything from the CIC in so long I'm sure I would have gone bonkers!! ??? I mean, I don't even know if my BD has been cashed or not. All I have is a courier receipt saying that it was delivered to the CIC. So a very BIG THANK YOU to everyone on this forum for helping me maintain my mental health as well as providing valuable insights and information.

And what's wrong with a little ranting once in while, it's the best way to vent.

Hello Friends....

I am new here....actually I was unknown about this forum. My NOC is 1122 and my application has received by CIO on 5th August [received by PAUL]. After that till now I am waiting for any notification from CIO but till now I haven't got any. There are lots of negative things were coming in my mind because of not having any information about my application and then I was looking for this kind of forum....anyway, last two days I was going through each and every comments of this topic....and thanks all of you guys...especially FMA. It looks like CIO is taking time to issue AOR.

Now, I will check my bank whether my BD has been enchased or not...as 3 days festival holidays are going on accross my country, I can only checked it on coming Sunday/Monday. I will share with you the result. I hope my BD has cashed. Corss my fingers...plz pray for me guys...

Before leaving, I request to add me in your list...

NOC Code: 1122
Application received by CIO: 5th August [PAUL]
VO: Singapore
Original PCC has been send with the application package.

Meanwhile, can anyone tell me if anyone get AOR?

I cannot find page that contained reference to pre 26 June applications (smth like CIC is working on applications received up to xxx. no info available on applications received on or after 26 June 2010).

was it changed or removed?

Looks like they have changed a bit :) Now they have the processing times upto 25th June country wise. The time lines have not changed atleast for India :P :P. It remains 10 months.

Here's the new link :o

I totally agree with you buddy :) :) :)

Regarding the 33 weeks guys, i can't find any logical reason excpet that the CIC is only putting a DELAY (margin or SLEEP function "Visual Basic 6 programming :) ") for the VO so they can eliminate some of the backlogs.

Yes, it is :) Without this a lot of people would have really hard time to gather and launch their applications including me! At least i belong to the luckiest few who were able to locate this forum well before preparing the application ;)

Hey Wayne bro. Don't give shit about + and -. Even very helpful , excellent forumers like Qarox or PMM are getting "-" for nothing.
You are doing a very good job by keeping this thread alive. ( Also pippin, canady, coffee, canady, indira, bindu and many others)
We are here to listen and say our opinion in a friendly atmosphere.
So I would humbly suggest you to ignore this plus minus bussiness. People who read your post knows well. I personally enjoy.
I am comparatively new here and I can't remember that I made anyone upset but still I got two minus.. >:(
So it means nothign to me.
Cheers friend.

Looking at their present state of technology I doubt that CIC is advanced enough to have Visual Basic 6.0, let alone .Net

I imagine their internal software is written in PASCAL with lots of green-screen monitors, and their servers are powered by mice turning wheels. When their site is slow, you know they've neglected to feed the mice enough cheese today.... ;)
