hi guyz,
finally completed my medicalz with dr frainy palia in mumbai...
it took 2 hrs approx for everything...prettymuch simple...only hurdle for me was mumbai traffic...bloody it took me 2 and half hours for me to drive from my place to clinic for 2 hr procedure..which is approx half and hour without traffic from my residence....
so in total 4 and half hrs travelling time for 2 hr work...hah...
and also submitted my RPRF/PASSPORT as well...
anyways goodluck to those who r waiting for MR/DM...
babbuu bhai can u plz update status to MEDICALZ DONE...

Without the credential assessment the agent will not forward the resume....
We cant apply for the job directly should be done via agent...
Agent scrutinize us from interview if agent found us eligible will forward then to employers......
But for the job which you undertake as per NOC i think your marks will not play a role but your credential will do and have to top with some kind of Canadian experience......

Sorry to interfere in your discussion...but what kind of agent you are talking about. If you are talking about jab placement agent then please be very clear 99% of agents have no knowledge about Job domains, they are just kind of sales agent who just commit employer to arrange manpower for interviews. I am dealing with prominent placement agencies in Toronto and where I have experience in capital markets and banking system operations I have never come across a intelligent agent who can ask me cross questions It is only the head of deptt at clients office I met sometimes who have knowledge about stuff.

It is pathetic that we have to depend upon stupid job agents to forward our resume to employers, where they have no idea which candidate has much potential or good experience and they choose a candidate who seems to have similar canadian education, experience or many times a CANADIAN SURNAME........ if you wanna see the magic just change your last name to "SMITH" or first name as "Jacob" on your resume and see the difference. In Canada it is OK to use second name at work than your real name... so just try..... my name is Jitender but almost 90% of my colleagues know me as "TOM" at one of top 5 Canadian bank.

@ rawlinbro I was having a look at CIC's OP6 B manual regarding your educational points.

This is what I found:

"A distance learning credential is eligible for points as long as it meets the definition of a
credential as outlined in R73. If the credential is not described in terms of number of years
duration (i.e., three-year bachelor's degree), officers should apply the definition of full-time
equivalent study and knowledge that the visa office has acquired on local education institutions
and credentials.
There is a high incidence of fraud in this area. Verification checks should be conducted with
issuing institutions to ensure that program integrity standards are respected."

So if your education institution is recognized, no need to worry, points would be awarded.

We both are landing in (mississauga) TORONTO,ON,CA.
