Hi again.

I posted a little while ago asking if there was anything any of you would do different in your interview but no one responded. My husband got the dreaded email inviting him for an interview. :( I knew it was going to happen because I am 10 years older and we have a language barrier. I think we are prepared but I just wanted to ask you guys for some advise. I hope you don't mind. I know your all going through trying times and horrific battles to be with your loved one and I wish you all the best. Your all so strong for taking all this time to appeal. I'm going to so soooo angry if my husband gets refused. I don't know what ill do. I know ill appeal but I just want this to be over already.

Also they asked him to bring my notice of assessment? I did send it with the original application.

Hi,

I have a few suggestions...
Only speak when spoken to, answer questions directly... don't give them a story... they want direct answers not more not less....be confident..... make good eye contact and be aware of your body language... (sit forward in your chair and hands on the desk in front of you) If you don't understand something, ask them to rephrase it and get clarification.... if they say something that bothers you... don't get angry, but be firm in your answer. Always expect the unexpected... be prepared for any question..... its a good idea to review everything from you past to present in you life with your husband.... I wish you luck and let us know how it goes!

Hi Rathika,
As I read IAD decisions on www.iijcan.org. In hearing you must say truth, be confident in speaking/body language and provide them your current status of ODSP. All the best :)
