Yasamin you are right. Mine was DM and then medical expired. They asked for chest x-ray only and we did that. It is still in the office 9 the doctor in kabul I believe because we did it a week ago. Now the ecas shows IP. Iam not sure why? I hope speedy visa for all afghan fellows.

I am lazy to edit the timeline. I enjoy commenting and looking at other posts. I am praying not just for my spouse but all afghans with their waits. It seems the indians are getting easy way in where as Afghans are given the end of the stick.

I live in Vancouver. My spouse is in Delhi. I came to here since February 26. I have been with her since i completed her sponsorship and as she has noone here other than myself. I am accompanying her back to Canada as its scary traveling abroad for the first time.

Our application is In Process as of Sept 25. Awaiting for DM or PPR on monday. If not, the following week.

Walekum Assalam Jav Jan. Yes don't worry at all about the ECAS status. Because that is not always up to date, they also make mistakes of rushing things and then finding out later that we still need re-medical for this application. I am sure you are at the very last stages. Next step will be to ask for your Passport if they don't have it yet.

Could you tell me, is she did Mp inquiry? After IP?

No my brother is so lazy to do that MP Enqiury

I have asked him numerous times. Plus she has not received the Re-medical request yet. All my brother has done is Case Specific Enquiry and emailing CIC New Delhi & Pakistan because he has no clue where the file is. The last communication he received was from Pakistan. I told him to call the CIC Canada and say you have no idea where your file is at so you can enquire about it. He won't listen to me. He keeps saying that they will contact me if they needed to lol.

do they have any phone number so i can call and follow up or what should i do. i kind of afread that they might lost my application or what.

First of all Eid mobarak my dear all online friends. I hope that God grant all our wishes and give us patience to confront this long sponsorship timeline in. Adel 167 according to CIC "There are two steps in processing family sponsorship applications. In order to know the total approximate time it may take for your application to be processed, ADD the time in step 1 to the time in step 2 (the two steps are consecutive). so now it is 55 days to receive a response from CIC. Be patience.

salaam Adel brother : u apply recently for spouse sponsorship and its too early to call cic call center my advise for is to wait 20-25 more days I am sure u ll get ur first step approval than cic messissuaga will sent ur application to cic new Delhi , this is cic call center toll free number 1 888 242 2100 I would wait couple weeks If nothing than call good luck ,Hope it' helps
