"Proof of intent" seems like an impossible sentence to me. An intention is something that you plan to do but have not yet done! How do you prove that!?! We don't require a job for this type of application so I have no proof on that front - I can't apply for anything until I know when I can land...

I would hope that you are correct for most but for me this isn't the case - my sponsor was approved before I even did my medical.
