JULY 2014 OUTLAND APPLICATIONS!

Hey guys! I know I've been asking a ton of questions lately, but I promise! Just one more! My husband and I while talking last night decided to have me ask an opinion on a matter. The other day we emailed the additional information that was requested, but had quite a few issues with the email actually wanting to send. Taking off a piece of information allowed it to send (apparently it was too big) and we're a bit worried that something could have happened. Seeing as how it took us 30 of the 60 day period to just come up with the information, we were wondering if you guys (and gals) thought maybe we should also send a physical copy just in case. I would hate for them to not have received it and they decline my application. Any opinions?

yes, for sure! send it by fax too! whatever you have to do to ensure they received it. let them throw out the copies they don't need.

yes, for sure! send it by fax too! whatever you have to do to ensure they received it. let them throw out the copies they don't need.

Exactly right, I myself have emailed, faxed and sent physical copies by courier of the the same documents that was requested by CEM I had wanted to be sure that what they asked for was received especially since the exact same documents were sent to Mississauga during the initial application.

I wouldnt worry, we have not heard anything either and we are a couple of weeks ahead of you from the timelines. They seem to be just beginning July applicants at the moment. I would probably get your medical done but make sure its linked to your application number and not the sponsorship approval number as I've heard that has caused problems for people. Your number should start something like F000.

I keep checking the status of my husbands application everyday! Still says application received.

I feel like we are so close according to other people's timelines, btw, our application was sent to Ottawa! This is apparently good news as well, because it means it's a straight forwards process...crossing fingers! Will post update as soon as we receive something new!

Seems like they don't like "in processing" haha

Hopefully they pick up the pace since it seems everyone has come to a halt! Even June applications seem to have frozen.

for ottawa, "in process" generally comes when the visa officer has everything needed to issue the visa (fees, ppr, etc), and they are ready to approve the application. "Decision Made" usually means the approval paper has been mailed.

Patiently waiting...they did not request additional info from us so hopefully they won't need any and we are almost home free!

Gosh, same here! Sometimes I would check using both my UCI and my husband's, thinking that they might have forgotten to update the other. Lol! But alas, still "application received".

Haha, I do this all the time. Wonder if anyone has ever found a difference between the UCI logins!
