Got an email today requesting RFPR fee payment and more proof from the Sponsor to re-establish residency. Bit frustrating but I guess that means things are moving along!

"Proof of intent" seems like an impossible sentence to me. An intention is something that you plan to do but have not yet done! How do you prove that!?! We don't require a job for this type of application so I have no proof on that front - I can't apply for anything until I know when I can land. My intention is to rent a house when I arrive in Canada but because I don't know when I will be granted PR I can't do anything about a house either.

What has everyone else provided as proof of intent to establish in Canada?

Thats good for you ...when they request for RFPR , it means descion is going to made and positive too..Regarding the proof , just show and describe your honest intention and how you gonna move there as a resident.
btw would you mind sharing your visa office and timeline thing...

They requested that of me too. (I'm the sponsor) and I sent in my bank account information, (had it before I left) my cell phone bill that is on hold, and something showing my mailing address, which is my parents place. From what I understand they ask most people to send in more proof. You could attach a letter from someone who you have talked to about wanting to move, a letter from yourself or screen shots of a facebook post talking about wanting to move, anything like that I've heard of being done.
They gave us 30 days to get that information in and 30 days wass up Jan 18th and we had our stuff in Dec 30h and still nothing.
I was hoping my hubby and I could land in March. But realllyyyy starting to wonder now.

Well I think at least Ottawa are checking their emails as they updated my ECAS after I emailed them about my medical....they don't reply but hey at least they seem to be checking!

Hey guys! I have a really quick question.
So On December 11th, I, the PA, received an e-mail requesting more proof of relationship. My husband and I sent in some more pictures and some letters from friends on the 3rd and also on the 11th or so of January.
We had an epiphany the other night that we should have sent our Skype records, we're still some time before the 2 month date is up, do you think it would be beneficial to send in that information? Would it cause any issues? I really hope not! I just want to make sure we have sent in plenty, since as online gamers, we don't take many pictures (we only originally sent in maybe 5-10 pictures with the actual application along with some other things). We just wanted to see if anyone thought it would cause any kind of issue being this close to the completion of the 2 month time frame.

I would send it in just in case, we sent our skype records and letters from people who know us both as a couple. If you still have time before the 2 months is up it is better to do it now then to be denied or asked again. Just make sure you have your UCI, app # and all the other identifying information on or inside the information to make sure they don't get the info lost.

Does anyone know of ANY movement in Ottawa? I've talked to a couple June applicants that are not hearing anything either!
I would just feel better seeing SOMEONE move. Especially since it seems other visa offices are moving much quicker!

I'm in the same situation with the London visa office. Literally nothing seems to be happening!

I keep checking, everyday sometimes twice a day, both with my info and my hubby's. Still "application received"
I'm starting to go crazy! I just want to log on and see DM!!
Hopefully Ottawa gets their crap together and starts moving!

The sad thing is nothing seems to be happening with any of the visa offices at the moment. I honestly don't understand it! I understand that there are other streams etc...opening, but surely it wouldn't be enough to affect it this much.

I've seen Manila and Vienna moving. Which is at least something. But London and Ottawa are most certainly frozen.
