Wow our timelines are really similar!brucem said:Ha we're all at it I was just doing the same thing!
Fingers crossed I'm getting edgy now it's been 6 months! I emailed them the other day as there isn't any note of receiving my medical....can't say I'm expecting a response though! I did read a thread recently where someone said the information on the UCI and file numbers were different but I think that might have just been a one off.AshleyAnne said:Wow our timelines are really similar!
Hopefully we both hear something soon!
I've only noticed the wrong mailing address on my husbands application number whereas my mailing address through UCI is correct.
Has it been 6 months already?? When I read your post I counted the months on my fingers. Haha! Can't believe its been 6 months already. I'm guessing we'd be hearing news from them soon.brucem said:Fingers crossed I'm getting edgy now it's been 6 months! as others have said, an MP can't "speed up" your process. all they can/will do is check in on your application IF there is a specific issue with your file, or if you have passed the POSTED processing time. More likely than not, if there isn't an specific issue, and you are just getty ansty for a decision (when you are still within the posted processing time), the MP will not take their time to help you. If they do, then they probably won't get much information from CIC.kcorbin said:Has it been 6 months already?? When I read your post I counted the months on my fingers. Haha! I read somewhere here about contacting the local MP to help speed up the process? Have you guys tried that route yet? Or is it "too early" yet?
On the sponsorship approval letter there should also be a file number starting F000. This is your case number. You can put this in ECAS with your own details and it should bring up your file!jonny_rotten said:Where did you guys get the other UCI number for the sponsored person? I only have my wife's UCI number that was on the sponsorship approval. She is the sponsor by the way.
Thanks
OMG! Best information I have seen yet! I did not realize he had a different number that we could check progress online with! Thank you! yes we are anxious too. Application received July 5th and SA September 8th....waiting waiting...AshleyAnne said:I think ECAS calls it application number.
UCI is only for the sponsor at this point. But when you do the F000 number it will be all the PR's information.
