Hello everybody! I just wanna share this link with you. It lists the steps for our application status for outland found on ecas. https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/redir.do?redir=app_perm_fam&lang=en&app=ecas

I only found this today and got really excited. =P

I'm not entirely sure but mine has "medical results received" listed already. So does that mean I'm in the "decision made" step? But it just said "application received". But whatever the case, I'm really hoping for speedy results!!!

It just means that they have received the application.Sometimes it does change to in process but don't rely on this to much as some Vo do update and some don't.

Aww.. I've been reading mixed comments about that one. I've read somewhere that if they have written "medical results have been received" it means that its already "Decision made" But then again, there have been some that have that but didn't receive any contact for months..

Oh well... *sigh*

Has anyone estimated the time for PR approval after SA has been granted? I know it varies by visa office but I was wondering if it is likely to be less than the 11 months quoted on the CIC website for the London office. Or the 16 months quoted for the Ottawa CPC. Some folks in the April, May, June groups seem to be around 110-115 days.

I can't quite work out where my application will be sent - the SA letter just says that my application has been sent "abroad" but then it gives the Ottawa CPC address in case I need to send more documents. The ECAS doesn't really tell me much at all - all it says is "application received" under both Sponsorship Application status and Permanent Residence application status.

First you need to know the VO where your files will be sent. Have you specified your VO in your PR application? if not maybe you should wait until you get AOR from the VO.

Then you can look for a post in this forum regarding the timeline of your VO .... i think you can find for both London VO and Ottawa VO.

This might mean that your application is going to be processed in Ottawa first! Some people from Sydney, London and Paris have been sent to an office in Canada because apparently they're "non complicated cases". London cases have also been less than 11 months this year, according to the spreadsheets. The processing times posted on the website seem to be really inaccurate... it's likely to be faster for some people. (Ottawa is definitely faster than 16 months).

Hi Guys,
Is there any delayed to get File no.
I have sent my spouse file to CPC-O on 4th july, and get the signed notification on 8th july.
haven't get any thing back from them yet.
Please tell me about it.

Thanks,

Hi, same thing here. Mine also says Medical Results Received. Been like that for almost 2 weeks. Makes me wonder what they mean by that. it says in the status is application received tho. So I don't know. Geeez!

I think what it means is that CIC just acknowledges that they have received the medical results and that it is in their system.

Its says medical received on our 1st stage approval too.
