Hi ukmike57, overall the whole process is very slow compared to other parts of the country, but they are picking up. I think it is just a matter of time to be able to clear the backlog. It is worth going public and speaking about the delays, the only thing is that they still use the "24 month"...

That's the first time in a very long time Edmonton applicants start to receive their test invites in almost a year from the date they apply. Edmonton office is moving at a fast pace now.

Yes, that's correct. I believe most of the Dec 2013 applicants will receive their test invites this month.

They are currently sending test invites to December 2013 applicants.

I sent my application on June 12th and it was received on June 16th. Just checked the ecas, no updates.

The bill is still at second reading, it has not yet been referred to the Standing Committee on Citizenship and Immigration. I am not sure where you got your information from, but it does not look right.
