there is no issue. The PCC is valid for 1 yr for CIC. You can get the another PCC copy within same day if the previous police verification was done within last 6 months.

Hey, don't panic.. they took only 15 days and sent sms that PCC is ready to be collected....however, I was travelling after police verification, so I could collect only in Oct.

yes, as I did not submit it at the time of application submission. I applied for PCC in July'14, however I collected it in Oct'14. The date on PCC was Oct'14 when I collected it. My MR /PCC request received in Nov.

the best reply can be from Indians who are currently living abroad and who also have to submit the PCC from India along with their present country. as they have already done it. However, i think you can get it through Indian embassy abroad but it will be very time consuming process. So better to...

why don't you get the PCC now before travelling. it is valid for 1 yr.

as per my knowledge: Affidavit will not be considered by CIC. You can get these funds transferred to your account as primary applicant's spouse bank certificate is acceptable.

As per my understanding, it takes 5-8 days to update on website after your courier reaches NDVO. my courier reached on 26th Nov but status got updated on 4th Dec

Is it? ::) but my understanding was that they check the medical results after this status and still can take the decision based on this.

One Query: If status is changed to "Medical results have been received.", does this mean they have received medical results or they have also received the "MR E-Tracking sheet/RPRF Fee receipt/PPR" package sent by me and have mapped it with Medical tests received?

you can check the status on http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/my_application/status.asp mention identification type: Immigration File number and enter your file number and other details.

MR and RPRF is must for sending PPR. If the status is "decision made" without asking you for MR and RPRF, then is a serious issue....chances are that there are some concerns they have identified in your application/documents submitted.

i am just telling my experience for sending MR....i sent it in late evening and it was in Po box (immigration sec) next morning :o may be its b'coz i sent it from New Delhi only ;D

i have sent through speed post (India post is still great option here). you get tracking number and confirm delivery status to PO box. and i believe cheap too 8)
